GGs to BetaBow, it's so awesome that you keep coming up with new ways to use all of Lau's moves. We played a lot of games and you did something different everytime. I really like how well you used Lau's super slow DMP+K. After seeing you connect with so many of those I decided to go to the dark side myself. I hardly ever give myself enough credit and whenever I won I thought it was bc you weren't paying attention or something but you saying that I was really giving you a fight made me think that maybe I didn't do as bad as I thought. lau dmp-k is not a sin that shit is slow az fuk,u just have 2 set it up. wish i cant find a way to set up aoi's worthless dmp-k

I've actually been using 9k+g for that since Yip showed me a while back, but Pai has so many options sometimes you remind me of moves I haven't been using that match/day/week etc...
I noticed you did the 3p charge k cancel into backturned stance and then went for the k, I usually go for the low sweep but you caught me with the k a few times and was able to float me (I usually go for the sweep cos I expect people to block high after the cancel but I guess the k is useful because it's faster and most people have a tendency to attack when they see the cancel, which is what I kept doing, and getting floated for it). Fun matches tho, I had a blast. Was that you laughing through the mic? It sounded like there were a few people in the room with you...

 

Yo 'Seed, from my experience Aoi's DMPK is best used at long distance and even then it's inconsistant. I'll eventually get around to fighting you guys.

 

That's why I gave props to BetaBow, because Lau's DMP+K is so slow, I couldn't do it as much as say a Jacky player does it but BetaBow figured me out well enough to know just when to use it with maximum effect.
I really hate DMP+K, I hate how it looks (full circular? lol) I hate getting hit with it and I hate how it feels when I use it. I don't mind getting hit with other throws or moves, it all feels like a part of the game but not DMP+K. I just think it's a dumb move that shouldn't even be in the game
BUT
it is a tool that every character has and I do need to learn to use all of the tools of my character.
With that said, I will fully embrace the move I hate the most in the game and I know that it will make my game stronger.
If you don't use it on me, I won't use it on you but all you DMP+K addicts... beware! Mwuahahahahaha! >

Yo 'Familia. I actually don't mind DMPK that much (although I loathe with a passion...Kage's ridiculous heat-seeker of a DMPK) but DMPK combined with lag makes for a horrible experience. That being said, kingofvf used it really good (with Aoi even) in our first meeting. I've been working on using the OM more effectively although when I looked at some of my replays with Blackula I thought I was playing Tekken (linear moves not supposed to hit but hitting me anyway). Now if I can just fuzzy consistantly

 

Our connect was pretty good. Not as good as the connect you and I had the last time you played me from your place. That connection was awesome.

 

GGs to Cozby, didn't know you used Sarah. Really fun matches, saved a few of the replays, I'll put em up later.

GG'S to Cozby - Nice Palin you working with but i did'nt come here for that lol! I played Yupa's sarah and i had enough of her. I wanted Lei and i got Lei Fei so a thanx is in order. I decided to use Brad cause my Daughter said so. We was some battling asses though and i can't from. You broke out for no reason and i was heated but i catch your ass again lol!

GG's To Yupa - Nice matches can't front. You took off also without saying a word just as i was getting warmed up. Your tatics was annoying the hell out lol! but i maintained composure and weathered the offensive storm a lil bit. Hope to play you again.

GG's to Tha Feacha - Fearsome Akira and one of the Better ones.
To bad im not familar with the names of the moves but that SPOD if im not mistaken is a motherfucker lol! I'd see it coming and my Fuzzying would fail me and i end up eating one. We had some nice battles and you forced me to switch up my strategy ever round to make the old stuff work again. You are improving and i could see and feel it. Dudes like you are the reason with i spend time in Dojo warming up the extreme basics.

GG's to Wasted Wish - You came with a decent Pai and i like the way your going with her. Whateva you maybe thinking remember this "SHE HAS NO USELESS MOVES" so as far as that stupid ass thread goes cancel it that. Everything she has set up everything she can do. Work on that defense cause that what im doing lately bigtime lol!

Punishing soul: Man, that lion isn't bad at all. You were definetely getting me with those lows. I think you could get me a lot more though if you switched your highs and lows on wake up. I hate when other lion players do that mess to me, but it works like a charm I'm afraid. I look forward to more matches with you

KarmiOyari: Once again I can't spell your tag, but we had some good matches. Everytime I play you I'm using Kage, and I know you hate that dude, so I'm gonna throw akira in there for you one day. You still beat me up when I use kage though so I don't know why you hate him so much (2k+g, heh nvm. I understand now)

Wasted Wish: Yip! Yip! Yip! Damn I hate that move, but it works like a charm and was fakin me out. I had a lot of fun with those matches. I do have a request though. I've been hearing about your lei, so I would like to have the pleasure of getting my ass whooped by him if you don't mind. Oh and you helped me to figure out some things with Kage's roll so I appreciate that.

Terrainx: Long time no play man! And you still got it too, so that's good. Appreciate all the matches man and let's get some more in later.

And an apology to Tonyfamilia and Yamioh Harris for missing those game invites. My bad, I was in a match so I couldn't just skip, especially since I had sent the invites, but I do want to get some matches in, so we'll have to find another time. My bad though.

Oh and no, your Pai is not annoying, just real abare, that can annoy people no matter what character you pick but I find it challenging. Good Games to all i played this weekend with my Pai. Bear with my, she is still as green as grass. And yes, you will behold the powers of abare if you play her!

Lol, I think my Lei Fei's defensive skills have become underrated! I do a decent job of standing there and blocking like a man with him. Hehe, you don't get high ranked and good win loss all off of abare, but that being said, part of his strength is the ability to go to doku and do 2 or8 k+g, or to do 3 or 9 p+k as both of these moves will take you off of the standard axis and counter hit incoming offenses.
and yes, sometimes i freak out and start hitting punch when i shouldn't--especially against brad, sometimes he's like quicksand, if you stand there blocking y0u just keep sinking further and further!

 

GGS to Social Ruin. Man, that stance you get into that auto-counters punches really gets to me!! It stops me from using my usual set ups. I dont know why I try punching sometimes when I SEE you in that stance---reflexes I guess. See you next time.
