He was 9th kyu and pwnt me one match then I got revenge, didn't see him after that. He was an ok player though so i'm guessng it was someone from here.

gg's to ZeroEx, man that was a long session! prob the longest ive stayed in a player match! there was a few lag spikes in there which i think where happening my end so apologies for that.

I was getting sloppy towards the end and your Brad was just too overwhelming for me.

Great games to Plague and SMB is Pai. SMB is Pai, I figured out that it was the batteries that kept causing my controller to shut off. When I switched the batteries again, my controller was fine. Those were defective batteries.

Plague, that was a very fun series we had. You started out with the upper hand while I was using Pai. But then I switched to Brad. I had to even things up a bit. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I'm still working on Pai. I've got a lot of work if I want to get better with her.

Good game and a half to you sir. lol. I think thats what we were able to get in. Haha, looks like you have most the pai tricks down, now its about implementing them in a timely manner. i am no expert, but i'm glad to give you matches and any advice i can.

One good set up is the kick, punch, fully charged k. Start it from too far away and let the kick whiff, the punch has long range, it may hit or whiff and they'll usually run into the full charged kick, follow with p 9k+gk

Oh and fuck you because I was so wired I couldn't sleep and probably didn't fall asleep till like 3AM only to wake up at 5:30. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif lol It didn't help that my friend stay over playing SF:HD all night keeping me up with the joystick and buttons clicking.

Brad was nice man. I loved the way you used 33P (delay) P. Your overall flow and choice of attacks was on point.

Hayato, thanks, your Goh is crazy too. You do so many things out of the ordinary but most of them work and take mad life. I like playing people who use these "defensive" characters and play real offensive with them. Can't wait to see what the replays look like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Silent Nephilm, I had never played you before except for like 1 or 2 ranking matches but the player matches we had the other day were very fun. Another "defensive" character player who plays offensive as hell.

James Harrington, I can tell that you're not only eager to learn but you have the right attitude to get really good.

I don't know why last time our connection was not good enough (I remember we had awesome connection before!!) and really hate the laggy, couldn't do anything about struggle... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
Just remember to do evade plus throw escape, even just one direction. How many times can you afford the giant swift in one match? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif I bet you must realize what I'm talking about.
One more thing you can try is to " give the opponent as much pressure as you can". I observed that you were almost (like 70%) waiting for the timing to do your "Tony Style sequence combos"(that hurts /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif ), of course if you got the right guess, then you win. On the other hand, you are too passive, and that's why I always got as closed as I can(I didn't have too many chances to do back dash). That's why I suggested you change your tempo a little bit even you are not comfortable with that, but when you use to it, you can feel like you gain a lot of combination by using your "Tony style"!!! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Yes, you can beat me easily if you improve the weakness you have, and I believe it's coming!!!

 

Late as usual but ggs to Dark Third Eye. I was glad I held my own against your Jacky, but I can usually deal with him. I don't fight a lot of lions except this one guy in rank who I usually end up playing who's predictable as hell (his rank is like 10th dan or something. He does p,p,p and the usual low crap. Super easy to read) Anyway it was an eye-opener to see the things he's capable of.

And of course your Vanessa gave a big dose of ass-whooping. It's not only difficult to attack her but her offense is tough to predict. I usually can read that big ass "Taaaake that!" high kick (don't know her notations because I've never fucked with her) and duck it but With all the other shit getting thrown out at me It was too late for me to duck it like I usually do.

Anyway..... it was super fun.

 

Good games to all I really enjoyed the matches especially boido e (good jacky as always) and teh pooch (good lion) but I want to mention a couple people I met for the first time.

SMB is Pai- good pai you remind me of how I played before I really studied pai's other moves and their is nothing wrong with it. One thing though if I just use the few moves you use, I get killed quickly and I am countered quickly. I used to play like that a long time ago and I couldn't beat decent people especially going for the full /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif all the time know what would happen if you ever missed or going to all the low sweeps to see them blocked and countered all the time. Aside from that, I wasn't really trying to be aggressive I was watching your set ups more than anything else so if I seemed passive and unfocused, that was why.

Dr Familia- I hear many stories of your brad and now that I had a chance to see I fully understand why they say that. I have seen enough brads to know the moves you are doing and you really make it all flow very well better than most of the brads I have seen even Blahzie's brad. About your comment about me not being aggressive, I saw you doing the slipping move and you were waiting for me to do something to get a counter hit for a free combo I was simply playing it smart. My usual punishers were not working on you as well as they should have tonight. I can be way more aggressive but your play wouldn't have allowed it easily as well as you were playing. Great brad regardless, the best one I have seen in a long while.

I think my throw escapes are coming out like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif lol. Its been a bit frustrating when I think I input /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and get /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. those attacks can be very different especially when im playing goh. Its weird how important general comfortability is. Lei usually does stuff I'm not intending for him to do so I have to adjust on the fly. FRUSTRATING!! I'm gonna STICK with it though /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif I feel like a shadow of my former "self," but Stick Lei is just sooooo awesome and raw.
