Yah, I hear that. Templario played me last night telling me he needed to train with Goh, then repeatedly complained about me being boring. When I told him to quit being a dick, he told m: "Sushi, I am Templario, one of the best players in the fight! Thanks for fight". Weird guy.. Anyone know anything about him? I've only seen his name mentioned incidentally on the boards..

Haha, yeah I did well against your Kage but when we got to the Akira vs Akira I was screwed. I don't think i've ever struggled that much playing you, everything seemed to be moving too fast and I couldn't react properly cause you was all over me, haha.

GGs to Ughil - thanks for hanging in there through the matches.

Use some throw mix-ups in your stance game to really confuse the opponent, and don't be afraid to just pause and hold guard after entering some of your mix-ups. This is a great way to test your opponent with minimal risk, and see what you can expect next time you're thinking about entering a stance. In poker, they have what's called a "feeler" bet - just something to feel out your opponent. Treat some of Brad's entry points, such as P, PP, and P6P as ways to feel out your opponent.

Okay, i might miss some of you, i played a number of player session from thursday thru sunday, if i forget, sorry.

TFam: GGs bro, your brad was rocking. I won't go into great detail b/c we already pm'ed it out. That one round you beat me all elbow follow up elbow follow up, i wasn in frustration mode and was like F it. i am going 236 sabaki non-stop, it has to counter one of these, but no, you elbowed and punched through it everytime. then i calmed down and stopped trying to use it lol. That was an awesome session until the final two matches, but even those were pretty darn funny in retrospect!

Tsua: That was a great set man. even funnier is afterwards and we both txt eachother at the same time "I hate [your charactar]" i really do hate playing jacky, its a small yet considerable consolation that you are getting equally frustrated by my monk. but its always fun. i think one of these days if i put some time into using jacky i'd do 100% better versus him. he seems like everything is so safe on block, he has mad range, and nothing is susceptable to evades..grrrrr. And all his throw punishable block moves are hard to close the distance on and throw, lol. and in other news...whaaaaaaaa..whaaaaa..whaaaaaa.lol. I guess its only fair, he shouldn't be easy to deal with, hehe, i know my monk isn't, so its fair. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

My connection dropped me out of the match and I had wanted to message you, but with it acting screwy at the moment I had decided not to chance it. Your El Blaze is nowhere near as annoying to deal with as Rare's is /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I wanted to get some games with you 'Familia but Live didn't let me join, hence the "locked out" message I sent you. Maybe next time.

ggs to pleportamee, methylidene, and lianlol. I handled methylidene's fierce sarah far better than I ever did before and I even saw openings that I didn't pay attention to before I guess my smarter offensive tactic is working after all. lianlol's aoi was was one of the best i ever saw, not as good as kingo's aoi (he has the best aoi I ever played against up to this point), but this person played a good aoi regardless we went back and forth for about an hour with no one player getting the edge over the other.

The only thing that gets me about pleportamee's lau even alittle is his use of the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, I don't mind it but it really messed me up and I really need to adjust to it better. The other combo you love doing with the low stunning move or mid attack is something I can stop if I just stop and block it but every time I try to attack it the low stunning strike always gets me but if I just block it, it doesn't nothing. You have tricky set ups too especially after your /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif knowing I rarely ever get
hit by the mid horizontal. I will figure you out some day.

Good games to the others too especially the 2 good wolf characters I faced earlier that needed to focus on his point blank range offense aside from that they had good feel for the wolf character overall

Good games to erdraug and Lucky_GT. Awesome matches from the both of you. Lucky my hands were killing me too, but it's been a while since I've had the opportunity to quench the hunger. Top notch matches from you as usual. Mix up man... I really hate your fucking mix ups. I swear Goh's should works better than Akira's... if it doesn't then I'm using it alllllll wrong!

Social Ruin, man those were some intense (SCRUUUUBBBBY) Jacky vs Goh matches. Man does Jacky feel like he would be a beast with a little practice, but maybe not, who knows. It was nice just to stand back and try and poke for a change, felt safe.

GGs to everyone that got caught up in my Lei Fei Killing spree, sometimes its just nice to dive back into ranked with my old main. there were too many good games (about 1 each with competitors) to count. It was almost like old times last night, there was a myriad of 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th dans online, it was CRAZY. In other news, i've won like 5 or 6 straight against 10th dans with my wasted wish account, hahaha, which does nothing for me /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif and i'm sure i wouldn't be able to do it with all the pressure on the line.

GGs to Mista Tee: Sorry i was one and done, ha, i didn't even want to play that one. I was like, i don't feel like playing, but i'll go one more match, then you joined and i thoughhtt, fffuuuuccckkkk, i don't feel upto such a serious battle, here goes my master rank. But luckily i won. After going up two rounds to none, and then 90% of 3rd rd and you came back i was like, here we go again. It seems one of us always jumps out ahead, then the other comes back.

 

GGs to everybody i've played this last couple of days including but not limited to Cadorna, KahnRahn, Panther NeoGeo, AirJacky, xX SETTRA Xx, TonyFamilia for finding the patience to repeatedly face Vanessa with Brad, ditto for KaminariOyaji and his baby Goh, Silent Nephilim for giving me a beating with <u>and</u> against my main, Kingo, as usual, for slapping me around with his 3- and 4-sub characters, and finally GGs KonjouAkira for teaching me a lesson in humility & for helping me prove to my girlfriend i am nowhere near being good in this game - actual dialog went like this:

me: (cries at the TV screen) Not AGAIN?!
GF: What's wrong? Why don't you do the thing where you hit him 3 times in the tummy and win? (she means elbow rush of course)
me: I'm doing it but he keeps breaking it!
GF: He can do that?! (pause) Why don't *you* do that back then?
Konjou: (TFTs me out of the ring)
me: D'oh! (slaps forehead)
