Mista_tee, yeah, those were great fights and a lot of fun indeed! You definitely turned things around at one point and I'll tell you exactly when: I was about to win the match, you only had two pixels of life and I had my bar 3/4 full. do you mean her 44G+k?? yeah I do cancel it most of the time but that's really just to safely switch stance and turtle (which I am not very good at doing ). the other times I release it I was forgetting to follow up with her sabaki's after the cancel. But you are right the few times that I did release it I did land them.

ggs to tfam. Man u were killing me with 1kk for a minute. Sometimes it seems like i can actually feel u getting frustrated thru the tv. a match or two it seemed u were trying to just sweep kick all my life away...so i joined the sweep kick party : ) I was staying away from 2_3p cause i know u hate it--so i only used it when ur 1kk abare was slaying me, but put it up after i adjusted. Anyhow, ggs. Always nice to play a strong opponent @ 5:30 in the morning.

 

I love your wife Talis! I try to tell people secretly at your home gatherings "Don't sleep on her man! She will beat your ass faster than you can figure out that you just lost." You know for someone who doesn't play much her knowledge of the game is great and I love watching her crazy Pai mixups. I know playing a lot in hard on her wrists, so I don't blame her for going lightly.

If you don't like losing to her I'll gladly step in... she is absolutely great and super fun to play with! hahahahaha man I love you guys and can't wait to come visit again. Please let us get R in time for the next one!

Good morning (for me) GGs to Oioron (yesterday) and Seidon (today). Nice to get a VF fix before going to work. Surprisingly small amounts of lag between California and Scotland today, too. Amazing.

I also failed to get subaki in easy. XD emoticon.

GGs to Tonyfam. Fun games. The first few we played (where you got that win streak going right before I had to go to work) had me thinking about how to deal with Brad all while I was at work, even though I'd managed to get a few wins before the end, lol. I was like "Man, he always looks like he's in advantage, and he always has that ONE last attack that comes out of nowhere for a stun!"

The second set seemed more even for the most part. But I definitely got the feeling too that you entered "watch mode" as things went on. (I've done the same thing against your Brad, lol) It sorta made me hesitate and question my own strats. I definitely would've played more, but a friend of mine who I haven't played much in VF wanted to play, so I had to play him a few rounds.

Shadowmaster, no worries man, I figured since you didn't respond that you were probably too intense into those Pai vs Sarah mataches. Just let me know when you wanna play, and I'm down.

GGs Social Ruin, yeah, it is frustrating to fight the monk online more than any other character. Even when the lag is so-so, I block other characters sweeps and I can punish them with elbow but oh no, not Lei =/

About the sweeps, I kinda felt a low-sweep-a-thon coming so I decided to beat you to the punch. Maybe it's bc your brother has these bouts where he gets low-sweep happy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif Plus, I was also trying to not get sabaki'd but I did anyway XD

GGs Konjou, man, did I get lucky. Went to player matches and setup a session expecting to see the same noobfest I usually see when hardly anybody from my friends list is on and then here comes Konjou, using the account that I thought was already expired. Very fun games against your Lei. Lag between us is good enough that I can punish sweeps but I still have to put in P extra early to punish /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and my reaction time to that move was horrible, lol.
I look forward to getting more matches in with you and doing the whole feedback thing after. In a way it's like you're the star guard of the basketball team and I can be the fat, balding coach. I can't dunk, dribble or shoot but I can tell you when it's best for you to do it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I was like--"@ Mid Range he wants to come in with that cartwheel kick, evade stomach side and punish with max damage combo" "no DAMNIT, i said evade it, waht are you doing!!!! lol, jk."

GGs to Gentleman Thief: Man, that was the best ive done against you yet, at least on a level of consistency. I really tried to focus on staying at pos. frames, or at least limiting my neg frame mix ups, b/c tghey are pointless against someone with your knowledge. I tried to find semi-safe set ups that worked, put them in my pocket and come back to them, was mildly effective. My standard mix ups just don't phase you, you block block block evade win. Playing you helps me learn VF rather than a charactar. Good Stuff man. I appreciate you, thanks for taking the time to pause gameplay and answer my questions.

i think the only thing i had to offer was the evade stomach side advice, everything else was pure annoyance, and perfect hindsight...of course.

Gg's to T-Fam. I hadn't played online in a week, but we still had some good games. I think my Kage was scaring you until you started faking me out with those throws. Then you had me really nervous about whether you were going to jab at me and I should evade or if you were just going to sway once and throw. Good mix up. Sorry I had to jet early cuz trust me I wanted to get some more games in, but I'll be sure to play you when I have some time later.
And everyone else be sure to get some games in with me if you see me online. I won't be on as often anymore, but I still want to play you guys. Take it easy everyone.

 

Good games to divine spirit and capt bodybag again you guys really made a dull night worthwhile. Divine spirit I hadn't seen your Akira in a while and you seem to be about as sharp as ever even though I could tell you were missing on quite a few key combos you could have used to finish me off a few more times though. I must have been slipping against capt bodybag's wolf because I got me with things I was avoiding the last time I fought him oh well.

Good games to everyone else I played as well especially Sharp J7 and his developing kage, your brad was solid but oh well I wish you much luck on your games with Kage from now on he was the only decent guy in ranking today so I quit ranking early.
