My thoughts exactly - dunno why but i've also found ManaKnight to be a cut above from random Lei Fei's/Pai's over xbox live & i've let him know. Please keep it up! Maybe find some other VF players in Scotland for some offline sessions? How's the scene over there anyway?

MarlyJay, I really struggle against your Eileen gonna have to take her in quest mode and learn her, arghhh. Fun games though man and our connection to each other seems a lot better than it used to be. Coolio doing his thing in the garden was awesome, he did worry me a little though. Guiness didn't help with the throw escapes, it was the fact that I only do 43p+g and 46p+g /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Throw escapes, ETEG, Fuzzy Guard can be funny online cause of the lag. PPP works on me cause I got no clue about Eileen and I am noob haha.

You got the TE's down, I think you probably need to work on fuzzy guard more than anything else. Once you learn how and when to use that you won't have to keep switching between defend and all out attack so much /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

Feck, lets plan on doing some player matches next time we're on. My connection is almost always solid in player matches (15mb/s FIOS)

 

Yeah that'd be cool, my ISP is pretty lame. Good bandwith but ghey restrictions so I have to be careful how much I download/upload. I'll add you later when I get on.

lol. Actually, i find that i play stronger if i don't dmpk much. In most situations why would i want to dm pk when i could evade throw, evade float punch, evade shoulder slam, etc. I don't mind putting up some of my "go to's" against you. It makes me better. Also, knowing u don't enjoy dm pk and 2_3 p makes it so that i don't enjoy doing it to you. Of course in ranked i'd always go for my best option, but in player i want to have fun and i want the people on my "friends" list to have fun playng me. If good players don't like playing me how am i supposed to get better. Honestly, i can be a vain player. I want other good players to put stock in my wins. I don't want to win and have you or anyone else be pissed and say 'good dm pk, 2p_3p marathon. No thanks. Who cares about the wins or losses, why would i even want to play that!" I would rather you say whatever u said about seeing i've gotten stronger, and u wouldn't have seen that if i had dm pk and gut collapsed my way to a win. And thanks for the compliment. Thanks for influencing me to get better. Seriously, if u go back to post u once put about my style being annoying, i've cut back on 2_3p and 2p throw. Well, i should say i've sought better and stronger alternatives to them. Sometimes it sucks to get honest appraisals of your game, but it matters what u do afterward. I recieved some rough criticism of my game from coz a while back, and i've spent some time actually working on ETEG and TE x3 and x4 (works for me in dojo : ) Now i escape some throw and fuzzy some and eteg after selected -7 to -11 moves. Helped my game. So thanks for the compliments and the criticisms.

GGs to Denkai for sticking it out with my scrubtastic Brad vs your Shun. Your Shun really is underrated. I like the crazy flow that you started doing towards the end after you got like past 10 straight. I was really working hard that match before you hit 11 straight. I was like "he is not going to get past 10" but you did /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif I couldn't even get 2 straight. Shoot, I think only won 2 /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif You're right about Shun being too strong but that's no excuse, you're just an excellent player. Hey social ggs, Nice throw breaks. When you started breaking my throws, i was like he really is going for broke with ETEG. It seems every time i try to ETEG, I never break the dame throw or eat a whole punch string from one of your stances. Oh well I'am going to succeed some time. Also you seemed a lot more reserved this time around. The reason I had to go is that some drunk driver smashed into my girls car. I mean I was playing vf and smack I ran out side and saw white car taking off. I had to fill out a police report. As always ggs.

 

Hey man thanks for the compliment. I don't know but lately I seem to be all Kage / Lei due to how difficult it is to play Akira online. Our games were definitely a lot of fun. It's funny you mentioned the DPOD, because when you joined and the match was about to start I was like hhhmmm let's see if I can give him a little something to remember me by... I knew just running up for DPOD was risky, but I figure what the heck most people always back up on the first match anyway so it might work and what do you know it did. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Dude I can say you got tons better and your stance switching during some matches were just off the charts. Are you on a stick now? I think I remember reading somewhere around here that you were. Any way keep up the work and hopefully we can play again real soon. Keep in mind my Konjou account expires on the 19th I think, so after that I'll be on my other XBL account. So send an invite there if you haven't done so already. I'm hoping for the new year I will be playing a little bit more VF with everyone.

Jorgo, you FUCKED me up again... That hurts so badly. My Goh may never be able to beat your Jacky. NOTHING I tried worked. Your style is too deadly to Goh I think, it's unreal. You are an awesome player, but damn, that was probably the worst beating I've ever taken.

That was even worse than the beating I took from Fly Gamer's Eileen one time and that was baaad...

 

Hardly ever bother to say GG but this time : Insane and funniest games ever to Tha_Feaucha. OMG u alone outweights all of dumbass from the VF5 community (ie 99.98%) mate.

@Gernburgs : close the gap and ask for help from Goh players, I don't know shit about him

 

I'm going on a whole 6 months on XBL and I wanted to say GGs to VF5 online and everybody that I got to play so far. It has really helped my game to play so many different styles and to play at least once a day lately.

For all you lucky bastards that have been on VF5 online for the whole entire 1 YEAR and change that it has been out: congrats!
I can tell that VF5 online isn't what it used to be a year ago when everybody was still hyped about it so I know it helped everybody's game tremendeously to be on VF5 online for so long.

And for all of you that have been online this whole time and are still playing it: thank you.
Looking forward to playing you again or for the first time soon.
