Yo Slide, didn't want you to think I ain't wanna shout you out here for whatever reason. I usually wait until I've played a few people before I get on here and give ggs but reading this combined with the fact that I don't have my xbox anymore Ima have to make an exception.

GGs Slide, it's really good to see you back, honestly. I was never as good as you and I'm still not but being out of practice for almost half a year would hurt anybody's game.
I don't recall beating you down at all so I'm sure that you don't mean me. Our fights were very fun and the rounds could have gone either way at any moment.
That's a great new attitude you got and I used that mindset last night when I played offline.
It feels great to truly enjoy this game, not take it so serious and treat it like what it is: a game.
Looking forward to sparring with you some more in the future.

It's cool man, I was just poking fun anyway.

Yo man, the way I see players is like this, you can tell who's pretty strong and who's not, based on if they use the stuff that's available in the game. Anybody can rough somebody up a bunch of wins in a row with some stuff the opponent hasn't seen before or aren't used to. Does that make them strong? Nope. It's just them taking advantage of something the opponent hasn't seen or understood yet.

There's different kinds of strong players imo. Inexperienced ones, experienced ones, rusty ones. etc.

You know how the game ultimately comes down to making correct and incorrect choices?

Everybody's got their own style, and styles clash and matchups clash. You can tell who's strong if they are capable of doing the stuff in the game, if they're fuzzying, if they use ETE, recognize footstance, guarantee punish the stuff they know is guarantee punishable, they use nitaku etc.

Sometimes, somebody can just keep making the wrong choices and keep losing matches. It doesn't mean they're weak, they're just not winning.

Yesterday, you showed me you're pretty strong.

imo, alot of us are inexperienced overall, it doesn't mean alot of us aren't strong. If we lived and breathed the game 24/7 against alot of comp that has a bunch of exposure, we'd be just as good as those guys far east.

And yeah our fights were fun I want to play more some other time too, the router got fixed btw, it needed resetting.

 

Good games to all you decent people I played today and I only played 4 the whole night and I lot of noobs. 1 guy with decent Jacky called me a nerd just because I beat in 1 player match oh well I don't really care. KaminariOyaji you have good pai and showed me thing I think I will use as well the next time I use my Pai, as scrubby as my pai is you might just beat her too oh well we will have to see who wins the next time.

I am learning to use Lion now the first VF character I learned to play way back when VF2 was still in the arcades. I played him last in VF4 evo and I wasn't all that bad with him. He won't make his appearance for a few days while I learn the black book combos and such but I figured it would be best for me to go back to my roots so to speak since Vanessa is a someone I obviously don't feel like playing right with any real interest I had in her falling fast. I might bring my Aoi out of retirement as well.

ggs to mistah tee. Ur movement was noticably better and...i noticed, lol. I think i figured out what is killing me about sarah. More so than other characters on the game, you can't visually confirm her frame data. The other characters i generally know what bracket of adv they are prolly in, but not so with sarah. I see a blocked move as 'quick mid eligible' and i'm being gut collapsed when i try and jab vs it. Anyhow, back to our games. Sarah has a bit of everything, and u use it nicely. What i really saw u exploit that most people don't realize about the blonde is that there is no range that she is without options. Great transition from short to mid to long range and back. Great stuff.

Honestly, i just wish the "best" would play me, but i guess it's not to be. Thanks for the compliment though.

 

GG's man. Lot's of fun playing you. and lot of fun playing on my newly fixed hori. We went back and forth a lot. Man I need to start saving matches again. some of them were really worthy.
