GGs to Panther. Sorry if my abare style is annoying. Your vanessa is good though. Not sure if you're aware of this, but you do the same thing twice in a row a lot. I started to notice it and changed my tactics on the fly. I don't know if its because you havent played van in a while or something but I thought I'd point it out.

BTW, if a van player attacks after switching stances, its moral play. She's at advantage on block for every move that changes stance. GG's to white worm. Your Vanessa is good. that was a hard mirror match for me. I think I took to long standing there trying to figure out how to make you stop using DM+pk and just get you to block. I realize now that I was wrong to just wait to punish it I should have just stopped it from the get go. But your flow was hard for me to get in sync with. nice flow charts. I reviewed my Vanessa and i will be ready next time. one question though, how can Vanessa make people scared to ss when she is in OS without using throws? I find that to be a weakness of mine.

 

ya, junosynth ggs. U put a good beating on me. I was getting a bit frustrated especially when i was just going thru motions with my arrow punch. Lol. U weren't even waiting til u saw it, u were just evading by autopilot near the end. A coupla times i managed to can it and u evaded and i did something or another. I just need to focus and reacting. Very good games. Look forward to playing u more, and happy to have u on my friendslist. Also, u deserve ur rep.
ggs. to UK rain. Another 84% warrior lion. Won 2 off himrank, and then won 6 to 3 in player and he stomped after every round he won, and pulled after winning 2 in a row, lol. I don't think he expected me to beat him. Oh, well. Juno took revenge.

 

Delayed HAWK works wonders, and for people who dmpk, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif hits for a sweet combo. Also, things like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif have decent tracking. But then again, why not just throw? I mean if you're playing someone that ETEG's perfectly every time i guess throwing isnt so good.

And if you're and extra bastard, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif intruder step mixup as someone is evading. Tough to get off, but a great flow if your opponent is scared enough.

Kahn Rahn: I was suprised to see you playing as Eileen but you definetely held your own. I really hate to fight her, but it was good playing against you. I was just glad to be playing again really as I had a little bit of free time, so thanks for all the games. I enjoyed every match. Oh and sorry for all the times I was just standing there. Was texting the misses so she wouldn't think I was ignoring her.

The pOOch- We had some really good games going between us. Man, your combos hurt and you never missed a combo opportunity. You brought a lot of new things I don't usually do so I do appreciate that, but yeah..we had some good matches. Hope to play you again sometime.

i just want to throw a quick piece about me and alot of the things i say on here. I sincerely want to be one of the best players on here. I would like it to be me and then the tier below and below and so on. It's not just arrogance, i love competition, hate losing, really really like video games and absolutely love hobbies where a person can show continuous improvement. ...Vf5 is a great culmination of these factors. When people say i'm getting better all the time, it isn't an accident. I seek knowledge, and actually "work" on my game. I take hard criticism and apply it even harsher. I'm always looking to test myself.
Then, i only get to play against the 'elite' players so so few games that i clam up some, my inputs arent as great as they should be, and thus my offense becuase narrow and predictable. This leads to extra frustration, cuase this might be the one time i get to play a top tier player in a 3 week period!!!! My chances to play the best are so few and far between. It's almost like i'm not considered 'good enough' for them to play me, and it sucks. It leads to me spending many a night on vf5 where i don't lose 5 games in 3 hours and not because i'm elite, but because of the competition i can find. There is nobody i play consistently. If ur on here and think 'we play every once in a while', well yah, that's as good as it gets. So i feel like only get a rare chance to prove myself and actually try and test what i think i know and learn from the matches. If dabadseed and junosynth beat me senseless in consecutive nights and both use 2p and 2p throw more than i expected, i am going to take notice of it and discuss it as perhaps a more viable respected strategy. Mind u neither spammed them. They both used it as part of a well thought out, well executed offensive and defensive strategy, combined with other powerful defensive techniques, good offensive spacing, and excellent garaunteed punishment. I leave the fight taking all these things away from it and wanting to discuss it as viable options for my own improvement. The most of surprising to me was the effectiveness of a poke based (or at the time it seemed like a poke based) offense with a high premium of maintaining an advantage at almost all times. It was bizarre to be controlled that way. ANd frustrating as found myself running patterns that were becoming so painfully obvious that i was getting ate up, and everytime i would decide not to do them and then see just how strong my muscle memory has became playing the ocean of players who don't challenge me. 99% of whom have never typed in vfdc to this site, so please nobody take offense to this. I just want to play the best and get to a point where i can consistently take 1 out of 3, then 2/5, and maybe even and hopefully become the dominant player at some point. But that isn't going to happen against random 3rd dan #43592. So anything i've discussed about strategy recently was not meant to criticize or define any players, but merely to explore. Even if i felt dabadseed went 2p happy vs me (which i've already explained i don't think he did, i think he used it intelligently, effectively, and judiciously) you cant say using any tactic on a random day for a 1 hour set determines how someone plays the game.
So again. Thanks to the people who put up 7,8,9 game win streaks on me and show me how much untapped potential there still is for me to chase. And thinks to myself who has put me in a position where i no longer have elite players putting 15, 16, 20 game win streaks on me.
Thanks for taking the time to grind me into a better player. I only wish it happened more.

GGs Slide, tonight I saw what you meant about Brad's midkick reversal. Great mindgames, you don't even have 1 week back yet and you're already playing like you been back for a while.

 

ggs you was putting on a show with them combos. Some situations were like, AIGHT, I got this cat, WTF 65pts gone, shit shit. Let me not go that route again.

When I told you about how I assess matches now, as how many correct choices it takes to a win a round safely... with this mindset it's helped me to make comeback rounds, in a huge way.

You set me up bad though, cause the weaving Brad does will stop Sarah from boxing, I got to bring out the boots but then her leg would get twisted and she got floored. Mid range wasn't a very good place for me to be, you could probably keep yourself out of guarantee punishable situations and still bring 70 on the regular it's scary.

Yo I just figured it out, what I did less of today, watch out next time.
