Good Games Thread

cant stress enough how much my game has improved due to phenomenal matches from coz and shaka. soon my tag will be known for more than just calling people niggers LOL.

 

ggs to rare entity. U put the scrub in my sub. Seriously, those goh vs blaze matches were a lopsided affair. ggs. U enter ur offensive setups and what not excellently neutral situations. If ya just find a way to avoid a few key disadvantageous situations it will pay huge dividends with ur strong flowing, natural offense.

 

GGs to the one only Plague(applauds)I never ate so many Knees in my Life, lol. After that session, I need to go into a diet. I need to go back into Dojo, and get my groove back into breaking throws. Fun sessions, helped me break away from that rust.

Plague (hey shinobi, at least they are one frame knees, thats like 1 calorie..right?) We really need to play more often. Ur spod wasn't quite coming out as easily as usual, ironically you were missing the last hit, which isn't even the tough part!!

I know you were rusty, it was kinda funny tho, b/c you were using all the little tricks i remember u using our 1 and only previous player session, but all the inbetween stuff was rusty from lay off. Still you were strong, much strong than i woulda ben after a 6 month break, or however long you been away. I swear i brok 90% of your throws 2 seconds too late. You'd be one frame into the actual throw animation (not grapple) and i'd be jamming on throw escape, and be like....damnn why was i trying to break neutral throw....*you do neutral throw* /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif no way. Haha my yomi was incredible, my execution was abysmal.

Bgs: too Sharp J7. I called you out on the bg thread (rightfully so) the other day. Still not sure why u disconnected on me that one day, you obviously aren't a puller (by the record, and i don't mean that offensively). Maybe you were having a bad day or whatever, it happens to all of us. Iv gotten frustrated and pulled 3-6 times in my vf5 career. lol, one time i did it as a 10th dan vs master kage, then i cooled off, sent him a pm letting him know whats up, rejoined and jumped out of the ring to give him his win back. it was gameorigina, i believe. may have been kidvid. eitherway, not the point. I appreciate the games today.

Great games to everyone I faced today especially havoc zzz, Gernsburgs, and KaminariOyaji. I am sure that Kaminari was the first to notice a simple that I spent a lot of time in dojo today sparring against a tough AI to better my ability to counter hit quickly and avoid being too passive without backing off. I was at it for about 2 hours straight and now I feel I hold hold up to better people if my inputs are done right. I screwed up too much against Gernsburg but played as about as well as I could against Kaminari's very tough sarah. My use of the jab is an issue I will have to fix but I want to use it as a defensive tool to keep the enemy off balance. How I maintain offensive balance and still keep my defensive jab if I need it is something I will have to work on in dojo some more. If you guys have any advise on how to do this let me in on it so I practice it in the dojo.

Inputting Pai's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif sabaki to counter immediate punches and elbows that are meant to counter my jabs and punches as well as the flip kicks and her standing kick to counter these attacks as well were something I meant to do for a long time. I even attempted to input pais /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif after a punch string to get a free pop up if a person attacks my punch strings. There are a few new ideas I want to do like doing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif in these situations but I can't buffer the move in fast enough but I will continue to work on it. I even made up a few new yip kick set ups as well when I was in the dojo.

Konjou- Straight beastin on me. It was crazy. First you come in there with lei fei just straight confusing the mess out of me. You have the timing for interrupting anything I "think" I'm gonna do after supposedly dodging (but really having a failed dodge because you fake me out) down pack. It was really hard to get some stuff in on you, but I managed to do alright against you. Alright to me is getting a win from you by the way. Then your wolf...I was using kage, but I was thinking in my head "why the hell is wolf faster than me...this is not right at all." I know I was elbowing you to death, but that's all I could really do against your jabs and 2p off the top of my head to even get anything remotely set up. Thanks for playing me though because it was pretty dry online for a while. Hope to play you again sometime.

Sharp 7- Good games with your brad. You have a different playstyle than a lot of brad's that I play, but it works for you. We'll get more games in later.

Havoc zz- I remember playing you, but I don't remember much of what happened and I apologize. Still wanted to give my ggs to you in here though

CarolinaPanther- We went at it for a while, and dang man! Those counters just make me really sad inside. There's nothing worst than seeing a blue Kage all blue inside and just standing holding block because he's afraid anything he does is going to get countered. The worst was when you would do that low trip, and since you're low I automatically think elbow *Crack! I just got countered and back handed like you were ike turner* How about a mid kick because you're ducking *Crack! Got smacked like you were Joe Jackson and I was one of the Jackson 5* I still enjoyed the matches though, but I have to admit I was mubbling under my breath when those counters were happening, but with all the TFT I did, you were probably doing the same thing, so my bad. Great games though. Really made me adapt so I wouldn't keep getting beatdown by the same counters...but only to fall into another one. I had fun though and very good games. Oh, and I think I also saw some setups that KingofVF4 uses as well and man you were nice with the pppk cancel setups. Great stuff.

Big Boss 1806- Man your akira has really improved! I remember months ago when your akira was okay, and now he's just blazing, it's crazy but good to see. Man, it was hard to stop you when you got going, but good games. Nice to see you doing standing dblpms. I don't think you used to do those before.

Mana Knight- Wanted to give you a good games as well. My memory is kinda bad about our matches, but I wanted to give you a good games as well

Blahzie- I've wanted to play you for a while now.Alot of people on here seem to consider you one of the best Brad players, so Im glad I finally got the chance to play a few matches against you. I have to say im impressed by your skills, we will have to play some more in the future.

Gastinell- Your kage is fun to play against, your always doing something unexpected and that makes for some very interesting matches... your Sarah is good also.

Brisal73: Hard to get a handle on your Wolf. We have fought before so I'll have to come up with some new tactics.

Darthminion/Adruptpaddy: Adrupt - Going the distance before pulling the plug. Darth - Not so much. Hey, you made a DAMN good punching bag though. Trying to give Adruptpaddy a run for his money?

kingofvf4: Adopted some new tactics, worked pretty damn well on me too -_-. I REALLY wanted to sit on some of the stuff your were doing later on but I just wasn't that patient. Thanks for the compliment though.
