Cozby VFDC - You got a decent Akira and I never noticed how good your defense was until now, not used to seeing you use the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif button as Lei is your main /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif There where times when we couldn't hit each other which made me giggle.

Also GGs to Jons Up, I really wanted to give this guy BG's but his slide shuffle, beat knuckle, 2p and DM p+k were just too good.

Yeah, it's definitely S tier. Half circular, good range & tracking, goes under highs, +4 on hit, safe on block... crazy.

ggs to mistah tee. one thing i notice about ur play style it that u are always adjusting, and not satisfied. Tonite u got to a point where the adjustments u made were perhaps the wrong ones and counter productive, but had we kept playing i think u would have made additional adjustments and done better. Plus, i'm sure some of the things u tried is now ground u will never have to go back over in vane vs lei. It is nice to see how u really explore the options of a match and it inspires me to do the same. For example i realize there is some point in a match vs most opponents where 43p (a somewhat ineffectual move) is actually OP to my standard p option or switching to hai from neutral. I don't know where that point is but i konw i need to search for it, and u would have probably already found it. Actually, your game is alot like vfnumbers is in that regard.
As always, discussing the game after playing with u is always a joy. U have some very good ideas on how to develop offense and defense.

GG's to Outfoxd - You don't know how frustrated i was in the beggining lol! After the Second Match i took a deep breath and said im beating myself by getting mad. El Blaze options is damn near unlimited si have to makea note of your favorites.You punished yourself alot by going abare at the Wrong(Right for me.) times. I had fun though can't front Nice Blaze.

GG's SilentNephilim - Your Aoi is pressure packed on offense but i noticed you evade too much Even on advantaged situations so i had to exploit this.I was worn out from playing Outfoxd but the hunger made me play some more. I had fun in the games we played and i hope to get a long session in with you too soon.

I played against some Jacky player a few days ago. He was a 7th Dan and I was a 5th Dan. He dominated the first two rounds, I barely won the third, won the fourth round then it went down to the millimeters in the fifth and final round. I won by the skin of my teeth. Great match.

I saw your open game and i was like man ill prolly get owned, and i took the chance and joined.

We played so many games man and almost everyone of them was played to the last rounds, how long did we take? haha, great stuff you pulled with jeff.

I am dumbfounded at how i could never escape splash mountain...
and then everytime i didnt think you would throw it i got lazy with ete and id eat it haha.

Every game was intense and never dull. that is really the first time i felt accomplished with my goh. Thanks for the experience!

 

ggs to the bad games thread. Without it i would not no to quit matches against the cable pullers before the match started. Thanks for tracking who these people are guys.

 

It is nice to know the bad games thread does serve a good purpose aside from the fact that it allows us to vent our frustration. Good games to illcoz. The many hours I spent in training and cozby ripped it to shreds instantly in the one way that would dismantle it instantly. I focused on preparing for a tactic like this hopefully I will fare better next time thanks for revealing the one big weakness in my new game strategy so far.

 

GG's to Manjimaru! Sorry it was only one game, but I was highly distracted. Yesterday was just a really weird day for me all around. Just distraction, after distraction... brother couldn't get a peace of mind to just play some VF.

GG's to Dennis0201 also... always fun bro! Killer Lei you have there... I had to slow you down to keep up because your spacing game was just to strong for me at that moment.

GG's to Gernburgs... not sure if I ever got around to mentioning this. When I played you I could sense you have a lot of potential. Personally I felt like you are already a good player, but you might have been a little nervous playing with me or Goh may be new to you? I think you should try not to keep such a far distance with Goh. I'm not saying that you just punked out and ran all day, because that's not the case, but there were moments where you would knock me down and use that as a moment to reset your strategy. Goh is deadly up close and has awesome poking materials. If you work on your up close game I think we may see another Lucky_GT in the making. Maybe you should play more with lucky are ask him for some advice. I wish you could he how that fucker constantly crushes my rising attacks with Goh's and how he applies so much pressure when in close. Trust me it's not fun to be on the receiving end of that onslaught!

GGs to everyone I played yesterday. I was playing on a stick so my inputs were being muller'd all day.

I used Goh for a bit which is also new to me. So yet again, sorry for sucking.

To me, you have a little "Mike Tyson" type of edge over me too; like I'm defeated before we even start because I'm intimidated by your name alone, let alone your game.

I have played with Lucky_GT many times in the past, before my hiatus, and he is amazing. He has whooped me so many times in mirror matches I couldn't believe it; it was almost disheartening what he was able to do.

When I backed off like that, you are right, that was a mistake. Part of it is my nerves showing through my play-style. When a player intimidates me, I clam up. Your defense was tough so I wasn't willing to risk pressuring even though I had no good reason not to.

Confidence is such a huge part of this game. If you second guess yourself, you'll probably just get counter-hit when you do decide to attack. I also don't fuzzy every time I'm able to and that always costs me. One thing I am getting really good at is punishing a whiffed throw with my own throw; as soon as I see it whiff over my head I just instinctually answer with a throw now and has been helping me a lot.

 

Seidon you where pretty good, I thought you was total n00b on stick but you lied! Your inputs where fine so don't know why you been afraid to play on stick before. GGs man /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I mean Goh sucks cause I dislike him. Personally though, Gohs on the other side of the world probably aren't well liked either cause there's not too many. Jacky being so popular, I think it's easy for me to see why Goh is not.

But every touch is 70pts. Goh needs 3 safe guesses per round. I hate him.

 

Other characters are 2 guesses per round though so meh.
