Good Games to Subbers. You definitely have the most aggressive aoi I have ever met and that's a very good thing. Some of the setups I didn't know how to deal with until later on in the matches. Look forward to more with you soon.

Yes, I agree! Subbers is an offensive whirl-wind! I think he threw me on block instantly more than anyone I've played yet. If blocked for a split second he would jest sense it and I'd be slammed before I knew it. Subbers, you are one of the reasons Aoi scares me so much.

Subbers: Yeah, I'll have to agree with everyone here when I say your Aoi is a bit scary. You have a lot of patience and when you weren't rushing into tech rolls you were giving me a hard time. Plus the spacing and then running up on me thing was getting me but those reversals and sabakis...ouch. I remember one round, you seriously sabaki'd me everytime I was at advantage to finally attack you. It was disgusting(in a good way). Good games overall though.

Slide- I don't know if I ever gave you a good games or not, but it's always good games when playing you. I know it was mad laggy that day and so I wasn't taking anything too seriously or anything like that because I've been on the receiving end of your beat down when it wasn't laggy. Heh, I still know what's up when it comes to playing you, but thanks for the games. Those kage matches were silly.

Godeater- Aggressive pai and tricky. And the counter hit when trying to reverse me....you can thank online play for that I guess. I thought I was getting a little too lucky with all those SDE I was throwing out, but good games. It's always crazy back and forth when we play.

Glory Hound- It has been a good minute since I've played you. Glad to see you back on. I guess I kinda underestimated you a little, cuz I hadn't seen you on in a good minute, but you let me know that didn't mean shit real quick. Your Aoi gave me a hard time and I had to straigten up fast cuz I was eaten ground throws like crazy. Good games man

Dolphynn 44- I don't remember too much about the matches (Yet again), but I did want to give you the proper good games because I do remember that they were good. damn, I gotta work at my memory. Isn't there food you can eat to help? I mean, I'm only 23 right now.

Blahzie- As soon as I saw your name show up, I pushed the button without thinking. All I knew was that, you always whoop my ass and I was ready for some good games. You still have that badass looking brad and you were still whoopin my ass, but I had fun. I was actually able to win a few which is an improvement to me I guess, but I was just glad to see you on and get some games in. I know I had to leave early which really sucked but thanks for the games. They were fun

Vggs to your shun and especially your akira as of late. I definitely need to step up next time I play vs you. For shun, I noticed you would always try to take a hit then throw in disadv. situation and that hurts. Some rounds were just playing around to get drinks and creating strange hitbox choices and others were on key. Great mixup in strategy and shenanigans. As far as akira goes, all I can mention is you have been mad practicing step to get all those correct choices, so thanks for raising the bar to help me get better.

Subbers-
Round 2 vs you and I was a litte more comfortable with the pp series 270 throw and the elbow cancel string 270 throws. Thing is vs aoi when you gain small adv. it means nothing unless it's a throw or catch throw. Even then from yin-yang you can break every command throw by:

This girl has a answer for almost everything IF you choose right, but that comes from knowing the opponent and racking in tons of exp. Having said that, your rushdown and damage potential make me rethink aoi as a weak character. You are defintely one of my favorite aoi's to spar vs. Hope to see you on more.

Very scary vanessa and more on point with moral style. Defintely a refreshing VF4 appeal and for that I LOVE YOU!

Blahzie- You got me but I fought hard. You and EVERYONE seems to play so abare now... It's so hard to throw a lot of players now cause they won't give you the chance. Seems most people would rather eat a counter hit than a big throw.

Every time I'd look to throw you'd duck, sway or attack; you made it extremely difficult to throw you, and against Goh, that's a good thing.

Killa Ken- Dude, your Sarah is insane. I can't believe no one has mentioned that here!?!? I basically couldn't even attack you. I must have gotten counter-hit 70% of the time or more.

Sarah NOT being at disadvantage going into Flamingo is so deceptive. I ALWAYS throw attacks there even though I KNOW what happens... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif ... Your juggles were beyond on point as well. If I went into the air you made me feel the pain every time, without fail.

On a side note:

I don't know if this is a style that has been shaped by a lot of online play but it seems that people have decided it's best to attack out of everything. I've played so many people recently whose major mix-up on defense is only between abare and evade. I think this may be more due to online than it's necessarily that sound of a strategy. Even 1-2 frames of lag could make a difference when you're abare-ing out with jab because you are mashing and if I don't buffer my next move perfectly, you will hit me.

Just seem to have noticed this style much more lately than in the past but that may just be the evolution of the game ONLINE...

With no disrespect at all the 2 you mentioned get beat because of that. There nothing cute about Teching and then trying to attack without it being a sabaki on wake up all the time. Assuming your using Goh Gerns you should've ended the match in a mere matter of seconds when they were attacking out of order.

I forgot to Mention Good games to Kila Ken also.

 

It just doesn't work that way. Throwing 17 frame knees on block isn't necessarily going to beat their jab. Especially not Brad because he'll probably just move out of the way.

 

It's cause it's online. Don't even sweat it, also it's because those specific players aren't taught the lesson for that shit. Play an adv OMP or backdash strike game and put 6K into every medium adv you have with Goh.

Sarah's entries that give adv going into flamingo you can sidestep them because they're all linear. The ones that aren't linear or can be canceled into, are all -.

Unless he's improved, Killa Ken mashes buttons and will drop game.

You were kicking ass though man that day. You were on fire, so even if there wasn't any lag, I probably would've gotten beat. Oh btw, the Kage vs Kage is hilarious stuff, I hadn't really used Kage that much in over half a year and it was actually fun. Those TFT shenanigans do so much damage, since I never rehearse knee I use other high damaging things.

 

I finally had my fill of Fallout 3 and am able to get baack into VF. Last night was my intro back into the game after two months of Fallout.
