Very funny games to tsua. I was like, he's gonna hit that combo ONE of these days....keep working on it bru. Oh yeah, my Akira custom has a black top and white pants - go figure lol

I really didn't know how to get past your defense, you was inputting all the throw escapes apart from 1p+g and you used fuzzy guard really well. Like when you did OM p and I blocked it, I tried everything after that to hit you but nothing worked, throws, mids... nothing lol. If you noticed anything I was doing wrong or something I need to work on, please let me know.

 

Linz you had played Konjou on my account. He was kinda rushing out but he said ggs.

 

Haven't been playing a lot of VF recently but managed a few games the other night.

GG's Feck - Sorry I had to leave, but I had to eat and I was super hungry man. Playing the game you love can really harm your body as you just sit there hour after hour and totally forget you have to eat / drink.

I would say that I was doing well because I know Akira, but that wasn't it. Right after our second or third match, something just clicked for me about Akira that I guess I had already known, but didn't really realize how important it was. I guess I know now why my Akira gets beat up by Adam, Denkai, Lucky etc... It's weird but it's like a big red light seems to flash right when his attacks will come out and based on the player you can almost predict the timing. I guess what I'm trying to say is try not to pick the obvious option, because when you do it becomes text book. Unlike most characters, Akira is pretty much HIGH RISK = HIGH REWARD in my opinion. Leave the poking to the pokers. You notice that when you did go big with knees etc it hit pretty much every time because it was the unexpected. When ever you went basic nothing ever hit. Sorry if this is confusing, but I don't know how to put it into words because it was just some sort of feeling that I fully understood that came over me while playing with you.

OhNoYouDidntVF - Nice Akira, CRAZY PK canceling to keep me on my toes. I think I fought pretty fiercely against you and got into your head a little bit, but obviously I didn't get you by much.

GG's so far to Gernsburg. Nice Goh. A word of advice though: Mix your rising attacks with throws every so often. Same thing when I'm tech-ing because at some point in the session I was almost always expecting some sort of mid from you. Other than that, pretty solid.

 

GG's to konjou with that Annoying ass Kage lol!. I see shit coming but when i react the wrong shit comes out.I guess My Hori stick is on it way out. Im close to deranking and its not funny anymore. I Feel better about losing my rank if i knew there were more players in Rank that i can fight for variety who can put something on the line for a healthy community. To many of Bitches achieved ranks and Quit then wonder why nobody can be found on rank.
I spent to Much time to with some bum ass Shun player Name VF Lion who constantly runs away like a bitch. HE proved to me why shun is unbalanced without really doing shit.
HE dumbed Me down so much that whe it was time for Konjou i was basically already at a loss.
AS of Right now Im Done with VF5.When SF4 comes out this shit goes straight to the back of my closet Until this is a Sign of R. This fucking game and some of its player makes me sick to my stomach.

I think the reason I was beating you to a hit in every situation is because my vanessa is very abare. Also, when I have frame advantage, I tend to use the fastest move I have on hand (jab or low punch usually). Then I'll poke a bit till i've freaked my opponent out and use the bigger moves. Remember that /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is plus on block for vanessa, so don't try swinging after blocking it.

Same with Wolf, but he has to play a bit more moral than vane. Still though, spinning elbow when in doubt. I couldn't believe how many TE's we were getting. Our connections must be really good with each other or something (i'd hate to think that we're both just that predictable) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Good games to Panther Neo Geo and Outfoxd. As I told you before I thought you were all about your YY stance and I didn't even see it very much. The spinning dancing game you had with and the punch off of it I told you about more than made up for it. You actually jabbed more than I did you and you didn't have to apologize, but I still feel I wasn't jabbing enough regardless just to interrupt your attacks some. I finally beat outfoxd at long last and I was shocked that it was happening, normally his blaze rips me up to pieces but I held my ground against him the whole way. I will have to think hard about how I did it and duplicate it against other people as well.

Also good games pl4yer7 you made the one time I wanted to try someone other than pai harder than expected and my aoi was just destroyed. If I want to fool around with her from now on I will have get better I am afraid to see what might happen if I try my Vanessa again oh well.

 

SDS I know how you feel. I want to approach this carefully as to not offend VF Lion, but I am amazed that he has obtained Defender with the very little skill set he uses.

I'm not saying he doesn't have skill, but he only uses about 5 moves total, and somehow does well with him. He could be very scary if he just picked up a little more of Shun's offense.

VF Lion if you're reading this... you MUST learn how to go into SOU stance for drinks. Use Chowan (hook punch) once and awhile. And since you absolutely love using PPPK, try varying it once and awhile by going into SOU before the K comes out.

I'm willing to help if you need it.

And SDS, don't give up quite yet. We need more high ranked players like you online! =)

 

Oh by the way, was a Japanese player staying with Matty T77 (I think that's his name)? I played you the other day and holy crap is all I have to say!

 

He's Defender now /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif I lost my defender ranking match to him because of my stupid stick. all he did was pp2kk, 66p+k, 3p and throw. really when I lost to that and my stick not working I burst a blood vessel. lol he then sends me a message asking for player matches. I said no lets have ranking matches. He said OK and ran to player match /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif... Man why am I still stuck at master. Oh yeah people run a way too much.

SDS I felt the same way after playing him. hence my recent break from this game. I will be playing Tekken BR for the rest of the week.
