My french brother! All of our sessions are so much fun and you always bring a clean fight to the table. The constant back and forth of breaking down each person's puzzle and adapting is what vf is all about. I am always open anytime I am on for versus with you. GGs to Wasted Wish

Man that Lei is nasty. You've got a good habit of doing flowcharts that are nearly impossible for me to react to online. Offline, I'm a bit better at Lei reaction, because JunoSynth plays a similar style and I've played his Lei more than anyone elses. Was the lag bad for you too? For me it was odd, like just little gaps in the gameplay. I think it might have been my connection, as my gf was uploading something on her comp at the time. At the end of one round, the lag actually cut out the killing blow. I was just standing there, then it said "KO!" and I was on the ground. No animation from either of us. I had to pick up my jaw and put my eyes back in my head after that /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

Good Pai vs Wolf match too. I'll admit I was SUPER pissed after that round where you won using nothing but yip kicks. I was trying to evade them, but my stick is really beat up, and I was having a lot of trouble with down tonight (and I have trouble with up every night). Thats another situation thats really hard to react to online. Good use of throws though, I never saw them coming!

I think I will get a new mic. but not until SF4 dies down a bit. I was so happy when mine broke because when SC4 came out people were always wanting to talk to me. people who had no flying clue what they were talking about and I had stupidly added them as a friend. Now that its broken I have an excuse not to talk to them because I am a terrible liar.lol

Oh and I also what to acknowledge Yupa's growth. Very nice to watch it happen.

 

Yeah good games to Yupa the other night. I'm so glad I got to fight someone good after not finding anyone and actually fighting a few ranked matches out of desperation.

I still don't think I am much better against Sara. I just try to guess when I can poke and dodge and hope for the best. It's hardly ever the first kick that gets me, it's all the stuff afterward...

 

Thanks for the games last night. I will address pai first, yep, sorry bout that, she has perhaps the most frustrating move in the world. And after you beat me a few rounds and kept runing over me and jumping out of the ring, and then elbow'd me a few times, i was like oooh nooo. even if i lose, this fool is gettin yipped. funny how vf can make u lose your mind for 15 seconds at a time. lol, sometimes you don't expect someone to follow yip with a yip, and then certainly not another yip.

Lol, i'm working hard to NOT EVEN HAVE flow charts. Getting closer, usually my opponent is on here talking about my abare!! but i wasn't goin abare much last night, trying to use guard, (and i know i need to start evading agian). Any comparison to junosynth i will take as a compliment and say thank you.
Altho i didn't give you the juno special (2p-pause-2p-pause-2p+k, pause, p+k, sweep kick.) you might not recognize that but if you saw it on the screen, you'd know.
The lag was strange on my end too. it wasn't bad at all, except occasionally when it was. for some reason 3p+g you could roll away from everytime before i stomped.....which no one can do, so that was frustrating, but i'll live with it. Thanks again, we'll have to play some more soon.

 

Played a bunch of great games last night with dennis0201, Carolina_Panther, and Brisal73. Saved a crazy fight with dennis - should upload tonight.

GGs to Kaminari_Oyaji for Sunday, wish we could have played more but i really had to log off, i just fired up the console to play a game or two while the GF was trying on the 100th dress for our soiree, i didn't expect to run into anybody who'd want to rematch my annoying Lion /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif You have some crazy fast unstagger > fuzzy skills btw, i just could land anything after my staggers, neither throw or attack /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_up.gif

Also GGs to Ughil and phjtkdfhik (or whatever) you guys should play each other and trade techniques, i think your skills (respectively timely evade & good hitchecking ) should prove complimentary /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

 

Did you take the running and jumping for disrespect? Because I honestly don't mean anything by it.

I really have to get in the habit of taking my hand off the stick after a round.

 

its totally do-able. You have to roll in a certain direction but i keep forgetting which one. I think it's towards lei's backside.

good games to ughil and your brad. I am not used to seeing your brad play the way you did. I don't think brad can be played well defensively but if you can get it to work go on ahead and try. My reversals don't usually work on Brad with those jukes of his but I was lucky to get a few to work somehow. My throws were okay but I need to use her /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif throws more often I have been ignoring them lately.

Good games to the very few decent people I faced as well. I was so used playing noobs that it affected my play against the better people I faced today.

 

ggs to YUPA VFDC. i see why everyone is giving u props on here. U do a great job of using sarah's evasive moves. I didn't realize she has so many sabaki type moves until i played u. U started off very strong. I am impressed.
ggs to Wasted Wish. Hey that breakdown of my game was brutal brother. But i'm trying to get better. It's slow going tho. I think so long as we keep our sets short we can enjoy them. I enjoyed playing u none-the-less. ggs man.

You work on your throw escapes: you escape as much if not more than anyone i play online.

To say you are like the Shin Akira of lei fei isn't "brutal." Just keep doing what you are doing, bringing one part of your game up and then the next and you'll be just fine. If I do that throw to you, you can input /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. When the hook punch hits you you will instantly fall to the ground and avoid being comboed. You still get hit but only by one move. There is another move you can do so you don't get hit at all but if someone anticipates it you will be back thrown. oh, wow. Jhow, what properties are we looking for on a move to get an instant fall down. I.e., will every/other characters have a move we can try in that situation. Thanks.
