Good Games Thread

Good games to all the great people I faced today especially cozby and Astroboy 2112. I don't face very many good lei feis and you guys played the best lei feis I faced in a very long time. Cozby has one of the best lei feis I ever saw ever I was lucky to get a win against you knowing that I had no idea which stance you would be in at any time and if I countered with an attack they were often sabakied. Thanks for the advise and I will take it to heart in my next dojo session thanks coz.

GGs to Shadow Master. You did really well when you were more offensive.

 

I was experimenting with her inashis through out the fights and it took away from my offense because of it. If it seemed like I was holding back offensively I am sorry. When I gave up on it against you I went all out against you. Knowing you I won't hold back the next time we meet.

 

GGs to Panther NeoGeo and DaBadSeed. I think beat BadSeed once in 30 matches. I just couldn't stop you without turtling hard.

Jhow77- Yeah we did play the other day. It's was quite entertaining seeing all the different ways you would get out of every setup. I gotta play you more when I get the chance. You beat me up and it's fun to watch. haha!

Social Ruin- Great games man! You were REALLY getting me with those lows and the 100 staggers I was just eating. I really got up my stagger game man, cuz I'll stay in that mess for hours and just eat combos. And thanks for the kind words. Means alot, even though I don't think i'm that good. I just get a little lucky here and there. Feel free to get some more games in with me if you see me on

Slide- Haha, your post round stuff just cracks me up. Especially when you have sarah in flamingo and you start moving forward over and over as fast as you can. That's just funny. But I didn't know what else to do against your sarah. I'm glad we had a good enough connection for me to get those high counters out that quick. and the shoulders were my last option because you were all over me. And tehn your Jacky...good stuff man. We'll play again sometime

Carolina Panther- We only got one game in, but it was a good one. You're Aoi is getting a lot better man. You use less reversals now which keeps throwing me off and then I eat combos.

Kamais Ookin- Solid Jeffery man. My thumb was getting really worn out from playing way to long today, but it was fun. I ate a lot of knees and splash mountains. And it was kinda hard to get around your defense. Fun games man!

Brisal73- Those were some intense matches! Going back and forth with the rank was fun. And man did you punish me with the most painful throws you could get out. Glad to have played you.

GG's to you to UKDiddy. Your akira had solid execution and really good pressure and your throw escapes were impressive. I especially admired the down input throw escapes against my JE which is the one people usually don't try.

GG's also to teh p00ch's lion. Where do I start..... First off he gave me a raping I'll never forget, he's incredibly efficient with his pokes and timing. Coincidentally I fought Erica Fontaine3's lion today as well and there wasn't much difference between them, according to the rape-o-meter bar.

lol. Man, UKdiddy. I just saw that i gg'd u in the bg thread. I'm such a dunce. Man its been a long day. After i played u, i went to wal mart and my car broke down, and i got to spend 3 hours in the parking lot. Got home and my computer just quit working. And then i saw i posted ggs in the bgs thread. Sigh. Lol. Ggs, i meant all the things i said, and i meant them in the ggs thread.

Yo, again, ggs man. You kicked alot of ass. Anyway here's the breakdown, imo, of what happened today. I enter +4, and every move I tried that was 16f or faster(including throws but obviously they'd either clash or get beat), got beat by Akira's shoulder today. After that I tried every other move I could that is slower than 16f that also doesn't put Sarah at guaranteed punishment. All of those moves too, got soaked up by the shoulder.

I was glad that you kept using it, cause that's how I was able to try and experiment with as many different moves as I could there. So basically what ended up happening was me having to use defense at my own +4 or go all in. Then I changed the game, I had to use guarantee punishable moves at +4, I know what works. When you guarded them, though, you was punishin them. If you evaded any of those moves, I was in even bigger trouble, haha, and you capitalized on that shit then too.

I had to start backdashing after I touched you with moves, that way that shoulder doesn't soak moves up. But yeah, I had to just keep giving away my shit(adv) I earned to try and get something better but it didn't always work out. For example I would backdash at +4 and go for serpent cannon and it would be out of range sometimes.

So basically, you made it painfully clear to me, that I sometimes play too frametight. And I'm predictable in that, I always try to use my + advantage. Shit sounds silly doesn't it?

I get what you're saying Slide. Thinking back on it though...maybe I was going quite abare with the shoulder ramming. Cuz honestly, it wasn't like I was going, this dude is +4 shoulder ram his ass. Hmm...I mean, I know it worked for the most part, but I don't want to become dependent on that mess so I need to think of a few new game plans I guess. I don't want to become "that guy" with the shoulder ram spaz. I noticed today that I used it a lot. I feel kinda guilty. Plus, we're online and offline I might eat some shit, so thanks for pointing that out to me. Oh, and once you started backdashing it worked quite well. Everytime you thought of something new, you got a nice streak then I'd figure out something and I'd get a streak and then you'd figure out something and so forth. Still, I need to keep my mind open at all times and I feel that shoulder is getting a little too on the comfortable side.

And on a side note, I don't know if I mentioned you, but good games Mista tee with that sarah you brought the other night. Tough stuff.
