Good games to me for beating a Japanese Destroyer 4 matches in a row this morning. He used Akira, Jacky, then Wolf (I lost to his Wolf). One match I even got two excellents.

It's hard to tell however if he was annoyed by the lag, which wasn't bad at all, or if he was annoyed by my American style. The matches were pretty heated and fast pace though.

His name is JURI ARASHI. Does anyone know him personally or at least on XBL?

i think his main charactor is Sarah, and im not sure this picture is he since i dont know him personally.

 

I'm amazed that you can get all these fairly decent connections with JP players considering you live pretty much in the middle of the US(Minnesota). Well that's not exactly right as you are up high in the north close to Canada. Still though I consider you lucky. I have only had just 2-3 JP players that I had decent connections with, but I never see them around anymore. hehehe they must be playing R!

 

Hi Myke. Yep, Rodney answered for me. Minneapolis to be exact. I'm surprised that in Australia you only get 1 green bar. This may shock you, and now that you mention it I'm shocked too, but I get 1 green bar as well. I'd say I get 1 green bar with about half the Japanese players I see online. The ping doesn't feel that bad, but I'm sure it's bad for certain characters. For Shun, or at least the way I play him, it really doesn't seem to affect me at all. But I can imagine for certain player types or certain characters (Akira comes to mind) it must be extremely difficult and frustrating. That's why I never mind when someone exits the session before the match starts. I feel bad if this pisses people off, but I feel I have the right just once to try. If they exit I will not try to play them again.

I just found a great Wolf player from Japan that actually will join my session once in awhile, which never happens. 99% of the time if I want to play Japanese people I have to join, not host.

 

I met some good Japanese Akira player like 4 in the morning here in NY. He was pretty good and i beat him 3 in a row on player matches.The connect was at 1 bar but we still got it in.He spoke decent english too. I sent him a Message in Japanese saying Thank you basically for sticking around.He showed lovea and said he would've love to play without lag so i can see his real Akira.

Maybe when we get 1 gb downloads and uploads as a basic pakage we can enjoy gaming lag free.

 

i occasionally get decent bars with those guys overseas too. I'm in central Oklahoma, but honestly, i seem to get better connections than most people based on what i hear. You know, so long as i'm not downloading or listening to podcasts while i play.

Very fun and intense Brad battles man, Like I said as soon as you figured out my style (or lack thereof) I began to get stomped. Sorry for leaving so fast, I wasnt trying to give the impression off that I was in someway offended. It is just a game after all.

We played RO-SHAM-BO with sidekicks there for a round haha

 

Hell yeah man, you have no idea how cool that looks to me. When I watch or play Brad vs Brad matches and it happens even once I get more hyped and into the match.
Since Brad is at -6 it's a nitaku situation unless you fuzzy guard which is not the same online but when I saw you chose another side kick to attack out of the throw, I knew what time it was /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
It looks cool but the mind games that can be played off of that are awesome cuz for example, when I went for that Brad kick reversal I know it caught you off guard.
The ro-sham-bo game in VF is awesome cuz you can also choose to evade after your sidekick gets guarded or after blocking a sidekick you can back dash and do a launcher, etc.
Or just do sidekicks to each other all day /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
Lil fyi, after a blocked 3K offline, if you went to do another 3K and I went to do a throw, we would get a clash. Brad doesn't have many options that don't clash for scenarios like these but you should try 1P more often to attack out of a throw since that and 2P are the only two moves he has that won't clash.

We should def play again, like I said, you have your own unique style and if you polish it and work on those combos you can be a beast!

Also GGs to some Jeff player that was pretty damn good, guy dissapeared after one match. Wished he'd have joined again. he clearly new what he was doing, his defense was tight.

hey GG's man. Umm I am not Miss Rambo btw and I haven't used pai since VF4(she got boring for me). My mains are Sarah, Vanessa and Shun, akira at one point but I put them on the back burner for toooooooo long now so I suck with them. lol.
