Good Games Thread

LMAO. She can hear the clackity clack, and i do randomly curse while she and/or i am talking. But she is ok with it. : ) She thinks it's "cute". She's really great like that. Hell, half the time she's texting while talking to me. You know, i don't think it is something that would fly on the phone in a normal relationship, but being a somewhat long distance relationship we both accept that the other may not be paying full attention the whole time, cause we like to spend time together past the point of having anything important to say. Ahhh, the things we do for love.

 

GGs to Lucky_GT - Best defense and mixup game... period! Shoulder ram = 40%-70% of life almost every time! Damn I need to find a way to use Akira's shoulder like that if it's at all possible. Oh and thank you for confirming a throw escaping rule I just figured out. I could tell you have been really studying this game man, because the way you were escaping throws I could tell the same idea I got a few days ago you had already figured it out yourself. I was so shocked how it literally punched me in the brain and I was like WTF how did I miss this rule? I have been trying to implement it into my game and tried it a few times last night on Mista Tee and I was surprised it worked, but still since I'm not used to it yet it's hard to always remember to check first before you input.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about... don't ask! Try doing some of your own research, you will feel more rewarded like I was. Besides it's not that hard to figure out if you watch any youtube vid with lots of throw escape stuff going on. I owe this new found way of looking at the game to Shield Nine 9. The ass beating he gave my Kage made me realize I'm like everyone else and my lack of skill is my own fault. If I want to be better I need to put in work. So I'm working hard trying to change EVERYTHING! No more freelance fighting... Konjou gonna make a plan.

GGs to Mista Tee - Always fun man. I need to figure out what to do against Sarah when she is in flamingo and doing that evading up / down step into an attack(no clue what the commands are). That shit is annoying as hell, but fun none the less.

I had a good start against both of you but I started to slip (no pun intended) back into my old habits about 10-15 matches in.
You would do X-move, I would guard X-move and respond with Z-linear move. You would evade and take your free damage.

You guys were doing really good mixups later on /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_up.gif while I got progressively worse as I reverted back into autopilot. There were times I was more of a spectator than a player /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_down.gif

Silent, I was kinda surprised that our connection was so good considering that you're in Cali.

Sorry I couldn't stay longer coz something came up, otherwise, I would like to play more with different characters. I haven't been online about one month and feel like a little bit rusty I guess.

I was waiting on player match yesterday but on one showed up......
The audio kept the same melody and I just looked at the screen and it's seems like to be a hypnotism..... I tried to play SF4 a little bit later but still felt sorry about that game.... Too bad I couldn't find the way with fun......
Anyway, Resident evil 5 is available today!!! Let's get it!!!

 

Good games to Yupa and Mr Lupin. I will be take a break from SF4 for a bit to get back into VF playing shape again. My rusty pai managed to handle Yupa's sarah better than expected since I haven't really had much luck against your sarah ever. Sorry if I was too jab or throw happy I was getting my VF legs back under me again, once I recall what my old set ups were I will be better with my mix ups. Mr Lupin you have a good el blaze just keep working on him you will be just fine with him. I saw many signs that you knew what you were doing big time.

Under normal circumstances, this would've been a humorous moment. Unfortunately, she didn't get the joke.

Rusty I wasn't playing like I am used to yet. I have been stuck on SF4 lately and finally feel I can break free from it enough to get back to my 1 true love VF. I felt a lot of what I wanted to do weren't coming out as much as they should have.

WEIAND 8 71's Jeffry: It was really laggy today for all my matches not just you because I'm uploading vids online. You have a really strong Jeffrey and adam is part of your sig so it's just a sign of whats to come, I learned a thing or two after facing you, I am happy we are friends now.

Cozby's Jacky: Your lei is really strong but damn so is your Jacky. It was a lot laggier then our past matches because of the uploading but it was still great. I always tried throw escaping your back throw which worked pretty well when I was in disadvantage but when you stagger front dash then did the throw it always caught me off guard, always fun playing you.

 

Dude its like, you got alot better in 2 seconds flat. KEEP PLAYING!!! I would recommend you not throwing out knees and 43pp (delay that shit or use one like adam does /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ) so often. I could test you for throw escapes, you did well escaping those, or I could pk and play the +4 mindgames.

GGs to Akirazero. You monster. There aren't many Akira players in the US that can make you friggin dizzy. Rub some of those Akira skills off on me ASAP. I just tried it on the first shot for the hell of being random and it got me to safety!

GGs Cozby! LOL when you said you were dizzy I thought you meant because of the lag XD I remember doing a DLC at the end of a float during a lag spike. It took like 4 seconds to execute

GGs to Wasted Wish. You gotta work on that movement. With Lei-Fei, it isn't as important though. You can't hold /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif all the time; people will pick that up and do 0f throws all day.
