ggs to johoseph. I know you were getting mad, but u have gotten a looooooooooooooooott better at defense. so ggs to you. Also, your goh lines are starting to look a little like GT so that can't be a bad thing. So i offered u some advice, but u didnt want to hear it...but i'm gonna put it out there anyway. 1st on 66k, shoulder, OM stagger. It was very good when u were getting me with it. However, when i stopped teching that was the end of the line for u with that combo. When u did it and i didn't tech right away, u should pause, after the missed OM p cause i didn't tech, you should be patient and wait and try to oki my rising attack with a k or whetever. Also, even more importantly, when i stopped tech rolling to prevent the OM P stagger, u should start at least light pouncing me, if not heavy pounce. U should work to try and force me to tech again so u could go back to the back stagger combo. It would have put a lot more pressure on me, and netted u a bunch of 10 dmg ground punches that u were just giving up.
2nd, as much as u have stepped up your game with fuzzy and crouch fuzzy, it didn't seem like u were TEing off of ur garaunteed throw moves. But maybe i was just getting lucky with my throws, who knows. Anyhow, props on the defensive improvement

Oh yeah johoseph, i remembered a couple more things. Great job on 270 degree throws in general, and especially on cancel. Mix in the 270 degree back throw in even more to make it tougher to escape ur throws. And i notice you working on the jump mix ups to try and confuse me. When doing that, particularly vs a rising opponent, IMO u should find the distance u need so that u can jump towards ur rising opponent. This puts much more pressure on your opponent, and creates a higher probability of them freezing, allowing u to go with ur 270 throw or whatever else you have in mind. Another good strat that i really like is rush a downed opponent then when u get a good step or two into rising sweep range jump backwards. This will be good for goh's 66k, or even prettier, dash back in and throw. During any point in the match however, i think u will be surprised how well jump back and 66k work. It works great for me with lei and 66k, and there really is no reason it should, but it does.

ggs to erdraug, that is a tricky, minimalistic vane u got. I never knew whether u were gonna start ur combos with a p or a knee or just stand there, lol. I tougher mix up than it sounds on paper for sure. Very unique. And for whatever reason i just could not peg down ur throw rhythm . So frustrating yet so fun. Ggs man.

 

GGs & thanks social_ruin, dunno, I must be the only one who uses DS f+k so much /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif it's a really good move imho. Did you notice that the only matches i managed to steal against your Lei Fei were those i managed to keep my distance? Well i think you should do the same with your goh, get in there and try to pressure me on wakeup with goh's f+k like Lucky_GT does. And try those sabaki throw escapes Leonard_McCoy wrote about in his blog, specially with p+k > p+g, i stole some elbow rushes which you could have easily throw escaped.

If your talking about the down attack social, that was my way of telling you to tech roll. I think in like 20 matches you tech rolled twice lol. I dunno, I get bored when people just lay on the ground, slows the game down to me. That and it cost you quite a few rounds when I got down attacks when I clearly shouldn't have been able to. I know tech rolling isn't always the best option but you shouldn't treat it like its a bad thing.

Not only that, but you rising attack in a completely predictable way. Which is why I think you should mix it up with tech rolls. Crushing a rising attack online is pretty hard, especially when your not full bars like we were, and I still would smack them with a neutral K or 6k. Thats like, 30 damage on a k or a 6k CH leading into 83. It's not worth doing rising attacks that much.

excellent points. Your right to an extent as well. I needed to prolly tech roll more when i wasn't head towards. I'll put that in the memory bank. I look forward to maybe playing u some more, if you want. I feel like fighting your goh made my super scrubby go better. Saw a few tricks i wanna try and work on.

 

Don't tech roll when your face down head towards and don't recover in place if you are face down feet towards, you don't have to worry about the other positions you could end up in /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

Actually I agree with Social Ruin. Your Van was hard to read and Social put it perfectly. I couldn't tell when your barrage was about to start. So I just said screw it, and kept coming after you. But sometimes you would stop me cold. I don't have a ton of experience against Vanessa so she can be confusing for me.

Ggs to Kamin00b. I guess I can understand when you say my playstyle is frustrating. Taking it up the ass must be difficult. But from what I heard, you're pretty experienced, it should've been easier for you.

I'm def not that good yet, but it was (and still is) funny to watch you wiggle yourself out of situations you in fact initiated, when you probably should've just took the Ls instead of publically making an asshole of yourself

I'd prefer not to have a dumbo-flappy tongue on my nuts anyways...
