ggs to plague. nice akira. You've really showed me something the last coupla times we played. U whip out those SPOD very well. Best i've seen at those. Did u take me to an open ring on purpose? I really don't like playing characters that can juggle u a mile for RO. It feels so cheesy. Especially since sometimes i'll put in the escape and...crickets...damn it. It seems like lag, but hell, i'll never know. ggs though. It's worth it. Like i said, still better than quest mode.

 

I am destined to get hammered when it comes to stage selection. XD emoticon.

After a bunch of people talking to me about only choosing walls (which was true - I only chose wall stages), I switched to random stage select when I host.

Sorry about Player Match lately. Let's do it soon. As far as Sarah controlling Shun, it seems with our matches that unless you're in close it's tough. I gotta admit that often when we do get locked in close battle I just give up on any strategy to get out of flamingo. Basically I accept taking some damage in order to get knocked down and start over again. Maybe it's not the best strategy, but it seems to work for me.

I can't BEGIN to tell you how big an idiot I felt like after getting put in the n-th low/crouching throw of the evening. Those were some major adjustments you were making (YEAH, you were even watching those "soccer ball kicks" you were doing when I was just lying there ). Along with delaying about 80% of your moves later on in the session. Anyway...thanks go out to:

Konjou: Appreciate the matches. I guess I really was intimidated -_- That, and all the flying around you were doing. As much as I wanted to go to Reversal mode I had NO idea what was coming so I settled for attempted fuzzies...which would've done me some good if I actually knew where my openings were.

HappyFriend Lau?: Man, it's been forever since I fought your Jeffery...dating back before the instant replay feature was added to VF. Have to hand it to you though, you were delaying those knees something fierce.

OhNoYouDidntVF - Fun matches, I loved all the SPoD's, subaki sauce and teleport back throws. Shame about the lag but I really enjoyed the games vs you.

Yeah, good games man. Those little fakey things with Aoi are tough.

Sort of good games to Jons Up. Good in that I was forced to deal with keep away tactics, stance moves, lots of 2p, and dmpk from kage and that is tough that is challengin for my Jeff more than Lau.

This guy really plays like a jerk, doing always hitting after the round and using bounce combos with TFT when just adding 8p+g would do as much damage...

Those games were sort of fun in a masochistic kind of way. Is anybody friendly with this guy? He is not a bad player but like I said, plays like a dick.

I randomly bumped into Akaryu Medion yesterday. At first i was like "hmm, OK he's with Akira now but iirc his main was Lei Fei, better brace myself for the barrage". I was right and wrong at the same time. Right about the barrage, wrong about the delivery. It came in the form of AMAZING STEPING SKILLS! Blazing fast box box box box SDE! combo box box box box SDE! combo box box df+p+k box throw game box box /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

First round goes by in mere seconds and i was like "licence plate truck wha?"

I've never fought anybody like that! Now, i know other VFdc'ers can fast step like that too but maybe you guys are reserving it for the ranked matches and take it easy on me and player matches. Slide usually honors me with crazy fast stepping but it's usually to space not to bust my face! I saved the replay of our last match and went ahead and checked the inputs, absolutely insane /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif AKAmedion aka stepmachine GGs!

 

GGs to konjou last night, -- from what i could make out on screen, your kage seems pretty swift at ETEG, im not sure what it was but seems you threw in a box step into that command. looks like some kind of all-round input.

i tried to play alot based on sound , (you couldnt visually dummy me, lol i reacted on blured shapes) i need to fix my machine again and replace the heatsink. the GPU messed up duing the last round on our first match. it got abit funky-looking, lol..

GG's - I wish I could have played longer, but I had a friend coming by soon. My Kage is weird, even I don't quite understand it. Yeah I rely on ETEG a lot, but honestly I would like to cut back on it, but it's just so damn hard to break those VF4 habits man. This is the first offensive friendly VF, so being as the past games were a little more defensive for some reason I just can't seem to make the mental switch and turn it off.... more training is needed obviously, but it's hard to work the kinks out with that darn record mode.

Your Wolf is pretty strange too. I have never seen any Wolf player go from Offense to passive then back to offense again with a perfect balance. Towards the end of our session I just became a little confused and just couldn't tell when would be a good time to attack, play it safe or even abare. This lead to me eating a lot of short shoulders. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

Any how I'll be looking forward to the next set.

haha, yeah i know man, fer real, lol- but VF4 was practically chess we're looking at elbow speed nitaku - infact, yeah my playstyle is weird because of VF4, which in away is good because it forces me to create tight ass choice games. i'll get my stuff fixed and get back online - we'll play again sometime. your hezitation gave me too many throw opportunities, but other than that it was mega tight-
