Yeah I agree it is tough to fight Wolf. He definitely has all the right tools. The thing I hate the most is pretty much all of his combos lead to a quick OM/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif guessing game when you take the tech roll. I can understand why they took OM/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif out now in VF5R. For some characters it's just way to strong. Also for a grappler who is suppose to fight up close, Wolf has way to many safe moves he can use to poke from a distance. He has /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif - /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif - HCB/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (gotta be selective with it, but it works) and just regular standing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif if it's used right.

You've definitely still got it Brian. It's weird but I can feel your style even through online. This might sound funny, but the same little nuances that I feel with your Pai, I also attribute to your Balrog (boxer) from back in the day. You seem to have a style that while it may not always be the most effective choice at a certain moment, it still works for you. I love that style because it keeps things interesting. I was also surprised to see that your throw game has improved greatly since the last time I played you which was very recent. Now you just gotta show Boyd who's the Pai boss!!

Next time we'll do player match!

I thought you would quit because I'm pretty rusty and only know some specific moves.... Actually I didn't improve and pretty much as the same as before, and I need to confess the reason I won just because of the characteristic I chose. I don't think I can take any advantage from you if I use Akira, not even to get one round I guess.
I'm so curious about the matches between you and Denkai, Adam, or Konjou!! Do you use the same way to against them?? I don't know it works or not for them but you'r tricks really kill me!
I enjoy the show you play and whole match was like you standing on the stage and represent a big magic show for the oponinets.
Everything came so fast and I tried to copy it but I couldn't switch the inputs immediately like what you did!! I really really want to save the matches and replay again and again!!! That's the only way to digest your tricks I think~~
In my opinion, if someone can combine your Shun's tricks with Masa's solid skills, I bet no one can beat him down!!!

Well don't be afraid of me man... There are way more tougher opponents out there than me. If you need some help on how to handle players like me then ask. I don't have a problem offering you some tips. Even though it was just one line, it sound like you want to be better so just do a little homework / research about your character and watch some videos. From the vids you should be able to at least see your characters strengths and weaknesses. Also you will see various styles on how to use him and then you can pick or at least try to mimic the style that's similar to yours. Eventually you will notice that from mimic you will start to think outside the box and understand why some things work and some don't or why some things work better. Once you grasp that you should kind of automatically dump the mimic style, revert back to your own and try to develop it with a better understand. I'm not saying your a bad player, but it's gonna take you 10 times longer to grow if you want to be stubborn and don't ask for help. Even a player like me who you all think is so high level asks for help behind the scenes. Even I understand it's the only way to get better. I'm no genius man... I just have years of experience over you... that's the only reason why I probably win.

GGs Johoseph, you can get beastly but then you don't finish it. Work on your endgame go-to-moves, apply yomi and you will kill.

GGs to Cozby, if you keep going the way that you are, I think one day you're going to take over Denkai's spot as top Switchnationer /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif I really like how you try out different things but come clutch time you go for the jugular. You will do whatever it takes to win and I love it. You're not beneath or above throwing out multiple DMP+Ks or 2Ps which is good and only strengthens your game since you already know what you're doing very well.

GGs Kaminari, I think you rely on your commentating way too much to try to eek out wins. You waste waaay too much time and energy in SAYING what's going on during the match instead of DOING something about it. If you would use that effort and focus more on the actual match and trying to outplay your opponent instead of what your opponent is thinking about "you personally" you can be a lot stronger than you are now. VF is way more mental than some people give it credit for and you talking to a guy and downplaying his skill or telling him how he's going for the same thing over and over may affect his flow and mess with low level players but you can't consistently stop intermediate and higher level players by providing play by play commentary of the action. You will lose and keep losing regardless of what character you pick if you don't change your approach and attitude towards the game. Not because there's something wrong with the game or the character you choose. It's because you're too busy talking to actually concentrate on what's going on. That trash talking is great for games like DOA/Tekken and MvsC but in VF, you won't get too far with that approach.
You've got skill and knowledge of the game, if you would only focus on applying it.

GGs Erdraug, I know the matchup isn't the best but taking on your Vane with my Brad is a challenge that I love to take.

For real. In 3-4 years from now Cozby will probably be the "best" player in america. He might not be the strongest, b/c others will be more specialized in their one character, but he'll probably be the best. I don't know how he has so much stamina and patience with the game, i envy him that, but for me after an hour of playing or half an hour of trying to practice, i'm bored and its time to turn it off and find something else to do.
