ggs to carolina panther. The rumors were true, you have improved quite a bit. Your attack has slowed down overall (in a good way, less wasted moves), and applying more pressure by great mix of lows and mids. You have a knack for grabbing advantage with you mid attacks and not letting go until all my life is gone. I think your new play style is going to expose the backbone of the game to you and allow u to naturally develop better yomi. Then when u mix those reversals back in your gonna get even better. Ur cancel mix ups are getting really nice.

U mentioned my stances...when u anticipate lei fei stance dance from a little range, launch in with here jump forward kick. The risk reward will benefit you if u are reading good and use it sparingly.

Also, like myself, stepping is an area where you can definitely improve. You seem to mostly do rising mid, or rising ppp, but rarely rise and block or rising low. Just a small opportunity for more mixups.

 

Big thanks to Denkai and AkiraZero for a bunch of fights last night. Helped me be in shape for my WCG battle(s) tonight.

 

Thanks Social, and I'm still trying to wrap my brain on what I was seeing during those matches. Unfortunately some of the stuff still had me scratching my head. As precise as I try to be if I'm too early or too late I'm eating some fists (still crafting the "new" style). BTW those two lag spikes at the beginning really scared me to no end.

Grusselgrosser: Aggressive, and bobs and weaves a bit. Heh, hope you get Master again.

Late ggs to MarlyJay: Haven't fought Eileen in a while, but it was starting to get like playing SF4 when you started doing the hop-kick/knee. Figured it was just best to block and grab as opposed to parrying -_-

Yeah, they were good games, I'm glad to see I won a couple after what happened last time. Those reversals drive me nuts when they keep landing. I'm trying to make an active effort to attack more so I don't end up like bdoubleblade /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

Plus the hardest thing about getting Master is finding a master, and finding one that won't pull on you

 

You can always rank up to master off of 8th, 9th, and 10th dans....err...not that they are that much easier to find. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

 

GGs to Dennis0201! You kept me on my toes as usual. Your Akira is evil! I was laughing towards the end when you started connecting spods like crazy. Speaking of which, I totally cannot play Akira anymore... haha. My inputs aren't clean enough.

GGs Silent Nephilim, plz don't take offense to my playstyle. Im trying to get you to think outside of the box a bit. I kept doing dash-backdash on your techroll to bait your 44p+k and i would punish it with a floater.

GGs to Kaminari. You were scaring me around the end when you guarded during my advantage for long periods of time. I kept hoping i could get a CH off a delay but you stood your ground. I agree that nikatu is safer in this game, AND sarah (and jacky) are pretty unsafe, but you gotta expand your options out, put some yomi down on me.

GGs to Social. Too bad it was too laggy for you. I was hoping to manipulate magic-fei more. 3p+k... its soooo wrong.... why am I getting crouch staggered when your -6? C'MON! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif and lets talk about how broken the hitbox is on 2p+kp I'll evade and be behind you but i get stomach crumbled from the air? Did Goh have an upset stomach? I mean, he does look sick. Does fei use black magic? Why do his arms go toward his back but im getting hit from the front? There isn't any collision present. JEEZ! After matches I look back at what happened to me and how I lost. I think I got some answers now though.

 

No offense taken. I just got really frustraited and aggrivated lol. It was hard for me to find an opening and I was trying not to use too many unsafe moves right off the bat.

 

ggs cozby, ur goh is rock solid. It's funny how used to things u get. I use 2p+k,p as an anti evade move, lol. And wait for that stomach cr. and then hit them with the p that doesn't really connect either /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/sick.gif and i don't think anything of it. I realized one of gohs strength's versus lei, he has all those "scrape" kicks that u just can't be ducked. Me and carolina looked like we were gonna disconnect numerous times. Man, my lag has been f'd up all day. There was one point where i think i threw right through your strike or throw attempt and i was at like -20 frames. It was just bizarre looking. Almost looked like a teleport->throw, ugly. Goh forces ur opponent to play tight. Nice delay attacks (i assume it was intentional). U should focus on ur goh!

Truesonic2K's JE: We finally arranged a time so as we can meet each other and play and shoot some recording for the matches, what I didn't know is that it was going to go on for 3 hours! Lots of the matches in that 3 hours was sloppy because as time goes by you get more tired and tired therefore more sloppy. Great JE though it's like your always beating me to the punch or something lol, pretty good connection but there were spikes here and there, whatever. You got in a fair share of TKoD's which was impressive but when I threw my toe kick you would always crouch or something so it wouldn't work!

Sudden_Death's LE: I never knew suddendeath played lei-fei, I thought he was only known for his JE or something, well I think its in the top 3 lei-feis no questions asked! This son of a bitch did a 10-0 streak on me like he's Yosuke or something, soo strong! I just don't understand when to attack because your doing so many moves, I think when it got to mid range or long range I had the upper hand but close range=pce to me. It was an honour finally facing you although I thought it was going to be your JE lol.

Good Games to Kamais Ookin wow when you said you wanted to play some matches I didn't think we'd go for 3 hours straight! XD Still some of the best Jeffry mirror matches I've had since I played Shidosha a while back. So now I have 3 hours worth of video to upload to youtube of our fights. Your Jeffry is nice and like you said earlier we were both trying to hard to get those choke slams and TKoD's. Those matches are being uploaded as I type so look out for em!

 

Yeah that's a lot of footage lol, a lot of me getting raped but w/e, It's all good. Probably going to take 10 hours for all that to get uploaded! In a side note, I love your new display picture! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
