Good Games Thread

I know what you mean, I feel this way pretty much all the time. The only thing that really keeps me going is the fact that I just love competition. And of coarse it being VF comp kind of helps a little too, but overall the game does feel like bleh and kind of leaves you very unmotivated.

Jinxhand yea those matches were really good. You rarely fight shun and I dont get enough of jeffrey. Those jeffrey combos are damaging, and that kick of his annoying heh. good games, play again soon.

when i first played you around 3 months ago, i have to admit, i really hated the way you played and i hated every person using those tactics (i won't say what). however, i played you tonight and you were a different man, most improved played i've seen online, and some of the most enjoyable games i had with a jacky player. we must play again sometime soon, practicing with a decent jacky is rare. those setups is nasty! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Ok cool, Yeah Nessa like my 3rd. Akira requires so much energy that I swich up at times. I dont have much experience against Shun, Eileen, Blaze and hard to beleive Jackie. Ive played plenty Jacko's but only from afar. I dont think 30 feet away counts as experience. Now that we have replay I can study and understand whats really going on.. Peace

KingofCarnageVF- not only is ur akira still dope and u came with some new tricks up the sleeve, but i definitely was grateful for the wolf mirror matches of doom!!! i have a few just-frames down, but not all of them yet... mad props for that throw setup tip... im still practicing that now...

it feels like that if u try to play like VF4, ..

even VF4 was boring when everybody was playing it like VF3,

learn OM, stuff like disadvantage OM up to -4, for example in general occasions VS ELBOW) you can OM k garanteed in open stance to opp's back(side), but for closed stance, u have to DM>OM p.

learn OM during rising attacks / circulars, learn 0frame trow traps, learn how to deal with high P (more priority than low P in VF5)

mabye side crumple combos, mabye back crumple combos, mabye whatever u dont know.

if 2 people are playing VF5 and dont understand the system, then it's nothing but a broken match.. tighten the game and make ur opp choke.

that's when VF is fun --- isnt it?
