Good Games Thread

I don't know either after fighting you the lag went away it must have been the wired connection I had at the time we fought. I even had a few times where live couldn't connect to players. Damn Comcast even though I was kicked out of any of my games I it still pissed me off. What was my connection at the time when you fought me?

 

yes moldaiver is a puller. and gg's auvii.. I actually wanted to play some more, but couldn't join your games in time anymore .

 

I like gl0ry's jacky as well. He does have an intuitive grasp of initiative and distance, which is why so many of us like to compare him to Dennis. But his game is different. I want to say it's a little more honest than Denkai's, but I haven't quite put my finger on it. Either way, it's certainly a mighty fine Jacky that can easily counter my modest little Lion.

on a second note, xbox live seems to be messing up for me at the moment.

on a third note... I got disconnected fighting someone who was 8thdan and the game decided to reset my experience bar. Now I'm back at the start... forget it, i dont care about my rank anymore

 

GG to all the people I fought today once again the same pattern I run into strikes me again towards the end the lack to people that I can rank on. I had a few close matches early and I stumbled at first but came back strong but my pai ended her night right where she began the night a few matches away from 7th Dan and the frustration of not being able to find a match creeps in again. I really need to to get better starts in ranking matches but I must apoligize to Madrox TMCHI for causing your demotion, I was on the verge of demotion myself and that win started a winning streak, sorry guy.

Special thanks for GentlemanThief in our Aoi mirror matches I lost all of them as I expected but the matches were good the whole way. It was a great learning experience and helped to rejuvenate my hope to one day be able play better with her against online foes. She used to be my second person now she is my third behind my Vanessa and I hope to get more competitive matches to learn from so I can improve my game with aoi that much more.

 

Tonight I ended using my buddy's gamertag Payi Kick and was trying to increase his rank a few notches. That being said...

KingofCarnageVF: Thanks for the matches. Nice Akira, though he doesn't put the fear into my heart like Konjou and few others.

Broken English: Didn't give you credit earlier for "helping" me work on El Blaze. I don't think I'll get him to where I currently have my Aoi. Answering low punches with him are a huge problem for me right now especially if they're used sparringly.

Scarred Up: Wonder if he knew it was me.

KingofCarnage: I wasn't affected by whatever hit Live that night until I tried to create a lobby with High Fence. Sucker told me I was disconnected from Live even though I was still on. Apparently I wasn't the only one it happened to. Necro suffered the same fate during our private match.

 

I think live was having some server side issues last night. Seems we all had a bit of an issue getting into games and what not. I even got some weird errors I hadn't seen before including a complete lock up of my xbox.

 

What kind of comment is that to somebody?

 

Tell me about it. Everytime I invited someone they got the "unable to connect" msg. Likewise when they invited me.

 

Panther,I was trying to tell you last night that there was some kind of lag issue , there were about 5 or six matches last night where the lag was terrible and I could barely move, and then I couldnt get into the matches. Looked on my freind list and and saw a bunch of people 'veiwing the menu' and I knew something was up.

Thanks for the games last night, Panther, I enjoyed em. You have a different, more methodical Blaze than a lot of the other players online, beating me with fundamentals instead of leaping around like a pillock.

Good games also to Seri0s cat, who made me eat his mids like they were going out of fashion. I don't react well to that sort of pressuring and you never gave me room to breathe.

Jordi - Nice Jacky, always an opportunity to learn something.

There was definitely something wrong with LIVE at one point last night. Forced me to just play around in the Dojo...

It's just refreshing to see him not played like that.

 

X-Box Live was going haywire last night. I just didn't find that out 'till I tried to do some things later.

Broken English: Methodical? I guess that's an aftereffect from my regular use of Aoi. That, and the fact that constant running around like a headless chicken gets me into trouble more often than not.

The compliment I was giving KingofCarnage was that, a compliment. But I'm also being honest. I fought Konjou's Akira and I fought KingofCarnage's. Then again, I have trouble against certain folks...that's just the way it is. It's more on me than them. Lovely thing about this game, there's usually an answer to something somewhere...UNLIKE other fighting games, barring the small B.S.

Oh yeah, I got to drop a couple of Diamond Dusts on some poor jabronies my first go-arounds with El Blaze, so I'm happy.

Neo Geo edit: In the end that's the best thing I think about Virtua Fighter. It usually comes down to the fundamentals - the foundation. You start with the small stuff and work your way to the bigger things. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_up.gif

GGs to Konjou this morning (RodNutz)! I was surprised to see you on. 90% of the time when I play before work in the morning I only see Japanese people.

Guess what?! After you logged off I decided to play for about another half an hour and went from Hunter to Raider to Barbarian. Needless to say I was on a tear this morning!

Yes Moldaiver is a puss! It's fun to try to beat him before he pulls. I'll do this sometimes where I let him think he's gonna win, then before he has a chance to pull I beat his ass!

 

Do we know who VF lion is? Had a couple of games but i was expecting a lot more from somebody whose gamertag has VF in it.

That comment coming from a shun player makes me want to avoid playing Blaze all the more.
