Japanese Commentary on JAP and USA versions

One sec. You telling me VF5 has commentary? So, those video downloads I've been watching for months(that has commentary)are not tailor made for VF.tv? If that's the case, I need a option to turn it off(I do love the commentary, is Giant Gram style, but it doesn't fit the game)

the good times with patched commentaries, to be taken lightly for a laugh or else they induce ulcers if you take them seriously

JP and US commentary is confirmed in the US version.

If you switch the PS3 language to Japanese, the game and commentary will all be in Japanese.

 

what about the game's text? will the Japanese import version have English if your North American PS3 is set to English?

(the import verison of VF4Evo had Quest Mode Quest Orders descriptions in Japanese, that's why I'm asking)

 

I have no idea about the Japanese import. However in the US version, switching the PS3 language to Japanese changes all of the text in the game, all quest mode fighters, commentary, menu options, you name it.

 

why would anyone that isn't Japanese want Japanese commentary included anyway. Its funny because Im sure a lot of anime nerds would start ranting if it wasn't included especially with Blu-Ray's storage capacity. Just looking through the Youtube videos for VF5 got annoying because the Japanese/Engrish commentary. I actually wanted to hear the music for each stage.

 

It seems like the U.S. version will have both English and Japanese commentary. I don't think the quality is that good though -- I'd doubt you'd be turning it on often.
