    Hi,
I heard about this thread just a few days ago, so I had to register here and support the petition immediately!
I startet playing VF with VF5 on the XBox 360 a year ago. When I bought the console I was looking for a Beat 'em up and VF5 was recommended to me. I became addicted quite fast. Before I was a Tekken-player, but VF5 really impressed me. I love playing online against my cousins in Portugal!
Now I see a lot of VF5R videos on youtube and I am quite jealous... my friends, too!

Signed! Huge fan of Virtua Fighter since the American console release of VF4.

As an American PS3 player, I find it very difficult to find a good opponent to play VF5 with, and even when I do it's the same person every match... a PS3 release of VF5R with online play would be the greatest game purchase I ever made, and I would of course persuade all my gaming friends to pick it up to play with me. This series is a work of art, but I can't experience it to its full potential! This is a crying shame.

I'm a big VF fan since the 2nd episode. I bought it on the Sega Saturn, and didn't buy any other game for a year because I was totally satistied with it. The thing that I admire about this series is that it's pretty dense, and its gameplay became kind of a trademark, addind more and more fun through the years.
I like VF so much, that it often was a pretext to buy a new console (Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, PS3).
I tried to experience VF on arcade too. Unfortunately, being from France, I couldn't play all the versions (VF4 A,B,C,D,Final Tuned,VF5R etc...)because arcade rooms here are kind of let down.
The only chance for me to play this incredible game would be it to be adapted on console! PLEASE SEGA, DO IT FOR US

I havent played VF too much. My brother bought VF4, 2 years ago and just loved it! We had VF5 but we just got bored of it just us two fighting each other. [IMG] (None of my friends play fighting games and there was no online, which would be a nice add.)

If we would get VF5R i would definently play it again!

    Hello My Name is Che
I cannot express how much I want this game to come out on the consoles. Ive been playing VF since day one. When it first came out even as blocky as it was I put so much cash into that machine learning all the moves. But to get one thing straight which ive gotten into many arguments as to which came out first. VF was the first to start the whole 3d fighting genre, and its for that reason that I feel that it should continue to dominate. Now lets be real I have played all 3d fighting games that have come out I do like them all. but the one that stands out as the best is VF5. Most people like Tekken for its easy air juggles. I prefer Technique and that what VF5 has. Ive watched all the videos I could on VF5R and its amazing. Plus that fact that Taka was taken out in VF4 was a low point. So now that hes back are you really going to deny all of us the chance to play him again. Not to mention the new character Jean Cujo looks to be bad ass. I plead and beg to please bring this out in the states. We have already been denyed once when vf4 fined tuned was never realeased here. And I believe you should keep the rivilry between VF5R and Tekken going. Your game is far more superier than tekken. please make it available

    Hello,

I'm not VF veteran like some of the members here, but I do know a superior product when I see one. VF5R looks awesome, and an immense amount of fans would be sorely mortified if such a superior product were to be absent from the fighting game renaissance. Please release R on consoles!

Hi, this is Simone from Italy.

I've been playing fighting games for more than 10 years and I play a lot of them (tekken, street fighter, dead or alive, marvel vs capcom etc) but there's no one like virtua fighter: it's the best, technical, difficult and complete fighting game out there and its every iteration it gets better and that's why I'd like you to port VIRTUA FIGHTER FINAL SHOWDOWN (just read the news about its announcement) to console.
    Please listen our request SEGA!

Many consider Virtua Fighter to be the most technically complex fighting games ever made. It is one of the few game series whose developers have always made the game for the fans, never sacrificing anything to get a new audience. Just a deep, technical fighter and one of the best gaming experiences available. I know people outside of Japan may have not been so appreciative of Sega's consistant efforts with these games, but a following of players as dedicated as the ones who have been following the game should have the opportunity to play, no matter where they are from. I bought VF5 and and a fightstick for the Xbox 360 immediatly when they were available, and I would be more than happy to buy it's update. Please make it available, VF fans, fighting game fans, and just general video game fans need to play it and see how amazing VF really is.

I have posted previously. I wanted to update to let SEGA know that I recently dropped almost $3000.00 in the last week just to play VF5 Online on the X360.

I purchased an X360 for the sole purpose of playing VF5 Version C, so I can compete with the SoCal crew, and eventually the country at our gatherings once a year. In addition, I purchased a new TV, sound system, and custom arcade stick parts to ensure that I have everything I need to play VF5 Version C and have maximum enjoyment from the product.

This does not include the initial $1000.00 I spent on a PS3, VF5 Version B, and the 2 VSHGs I bought a few years ago.

Side note; When I bought Version C, I was sure to get a NEW copy, so SEGA would get their money.

Please, release the most current version of VF5 (right now Final Showdown) on console. I have invested time and real money into playing what I think is the best fighting game on the market. Please do not disappoint our community.

Hi This is quaelgeist posting for a friend of mine who was too lazy to register an own account here :)

    Dear Sega-People!
I am signing this petition to convince you to release Virtua Fighter 5R (or maybe even this new Final Showdown while you are at it) for consoles.
While i may be waiting for many different new Fighting Games at the moment (like Super Street Fighter 4 or Blazblue: Continuum Shift) (yeah, look what whole shitload of other games is coming to consoles ;-) ), i really want Virtua Fighter 5 R (or better yet Final Showdown).
    Why?
Because the Virtua Fighter Series is the Fighting Game Series for me. (Even since Virtua Fighter 2).
Button Mashing Kiddies are disadvanteged in Virtua Fighter, unlike in other games like Soul Calibur, where a wildly mashing 9-year old Child using Maxi can make about anyone cry.
But in Virtua Fighter you HAVE to think and practice. And this is what makes this Series so alluring to me. It isn´t just some mindless happy Party Game like ... well Mario Party. It is the game of people who are willing to invest some practice and thought. But yet the fundamentals can easily be taught to newcomers.
    Just like Chess.
Do you really want the World not to partake in this pleasure?

Dear Sega and Sega-AM2, and whomever may be in charge of an arcade-to-console port of Virtua Fighter: Final Showdown...

Please bring this game to consoles (Final Showdown). I love Virtua Fighter. It is the finest fighting game I have ever played.

I have played Virtua Fighter ever since I purchased a Sega Saturn. No fighting game has affected me as much as the Virtua Fighter series. Please bring Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown to consoles and/or the PC via Steam.

Posting support for Virtua Fighter FS, because there's no real reason not to release it in the states. With a solid port and decent to good netcode, it would give the Virtua Fighter series some much needed international recognition the likes of which hasn't been seen since VF3. It used to be the king of my early '00s arcade scene, with the boom in fighting games, and the success of Tekken 6, now is a good time to re-establish that dominance.

I started out with Virtua Fighter 3 on Dreamcast, but never took it seriously. I actually began playing Fighting games seriously after I graduated High School and got into playing with a crowd. Everyone here talks about how good the game is, and after playing Virtua Fighter 5 one night at a party, I can see why it'd such a great game. How simple it is, the mind aspect put into it, how quick matches last, and how much of it learned can be applied into other fighting games. How fun it can be at both low and high levels.

So, with recent games like Blazblue, Tekken 6, Street Fighter IV, and King of Fighters 12, it would be silly not to take advantage of a fighting games boom. So please, please, release Final Showdown on console.

I started playing Virtua Fighter since VF4 on the Playstation 2, and it instantly became my favorite fighting game. Never had a game captured me so much as Virtua Fighter, and my enjoyment continues to this day. I still regularly play Virtua Fighter 5 Online. However, it pains me that I cannot play the newest Virtua Fighter. It seems like such a fantastic game, and I so dearly would like to play it. I would undoubtedly buy it on either the PS3 or 360 if it got a console release. Thank you for considering all of us fans who do not live in Japan.

I haven't signed this petition yet cause, frankly, I don't think Sega cares about its customers. Atleast not oversees.

I remember playing VF1 on arcades. The original. My mind was blown. I also played VF2 as a casual gamer.

I was lost during the VF3 boom (no dreamcast) but came back to VF4. With maturity as a gamer I could enjoy the franchise much more then before and I was there day one when PS3 was released. I already had two VSGH sticks at my home at this point and the wait was killing me!

From there on I've gotten more and more pessimistic about the company. Not everyone lives in japan but I myself as a customer and follower of the brand feel that if I don't - I don't matter. I was lucky enough to be able to play VF:FT and see what I was missing during the VF4 era. I waited. Now it's the same (but even worse) with VF5. Why should I even begin to assume the company won't do this again with VF6?

As such I as a costumer am lost and prefer to play current versions of other games at least with the illusion of a company that cares. They all manage to release current versions of games and with Sega and VF it has become the rule more then the exepection that won't happen. Call it bitter if you like but believe me I would love to have my faith restored. I've dedicated a good deal of my life to the series.

    /KiwE (Stephan)
