Stop defending the truth. Shun is to strong in R. Anyone can see that. Even the players who use him. He now has 14 frame elbow with many options and he still gets to keep /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif! WTF!!! Show me the weak points since you obvious know something everyone else doesn't know.

 

maybe I should go for Shun more and deeply~~

Haha, Shun seems to be too strong in R at the moment. From what I hear or see from video, he needs to drink 6 or more cups of Sake to use Chowan(/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. Also, his strong and easy combos such as /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif followed by /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif are not available in R. That's all I know about how Shun is weakened in R. If he is too strong now, he will surely get weakened in the official production version. R is still in the testing phase, right?

Anyhow, I will definitely use Shun in R, and I would go for mastering another character too if I have a chance to play R. Either of new characters is a good candidate. Jean looks like a Tekken character though /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

hintushin(lay down stance) isnt really strong, you can crush it so easily if you know his moves.

And, Akira is strong character. I'm not gonna say who is stronger, but Akira IS strong too.

 

I'm gonna get back on xbl ranked matches I'm no tier rank tho highest I got was 9th and lowest demote was to 5th currently 8th I think.

 

It was not a REAL question for you to answer. I could care less if you want to keep the secrets to yourself. But you are wrong about oushin. It may be a weak stance but truth be told... SHUN DOES NOT NEED IT! And even if he lays down and say you hit him while in stance what do you get for making the correct guess? NOTHING! You get the attack that downs him and then down attack that's it. How much damage is that? For Akira maybe 20-25? Oh that's a lot of damage. But if I guess wrong he gets 45-60 damage or more if he has a lot of drinks. I know Akira is strong, but because of /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif Shun kills Akira very easily just like Jeffry kills Shun very easily.

again, you know 2K isnt so good move. that move is really useful as abare, and stop opponent's attack. but as frame, Shun will get disadvantage. I always say 'frame isnt all' but frame is very important in VF.

I'll give you a one of Itazan story that heard from my friend, golgonzola(sp?).

Itazan lost about 5 times in a row to Akira player for seriously. I forgot Akira player's name, but Itazan tried really hard. I just remember Akira player used many koboku, and crush Itazan's Shun.

And golgonzola said Itazan was really nervous(?)(kuyashii in Japanese), this is really rare that Itazan gets losig streak.

I'm pretty sure you will say something but it is true, and I dont think Shun can kill Akira very easily. I dont even think Jeffery can kill Shun very easily.

highest was 9th dan, lowest was 5th dan. Currently 7th dan.

 

he lost 5 times in a row? Ok So? It can happen taking into account he was nervous or the condition weren't right for him,There styles clashed,ETC. It happens though since everbody can have a off game from time to time.
I think its cool when you trade win streaks back and forth i kinda propels you to push harder for dominance of that opponent.

Konjou is right 150% on this one. Even Lei fei does this.
