Moves you'd exorcise from VF

Five guessings seem strong but Goh's got to get the tsukami first, so the right sabaki or the low throw with 2, nothing's guaranteed unlike with tenchi... so let's agree to keep both, troll ^^

I totally agree with that (on block too it is stupid, should be at least -10 to allow a low throw and should allow fuzzy on NH)

Guard breaks seem ok to me ( though I hate Akira's) they're either slow or don't reach too far.

 

@Chibitox They most likely gave him the unblockable cuz jacky has alot of highs strings. Its for balancing. if you took away the unblockable all players would have to do is crouch guard. K+G~SS doesnt have good frame advantage either. This was most likely AM2's thinking.

 

@no_w_h_ere my thing is akira needs the guard breaks. he's such a linear character that he has nothing else to bypass peoples guard.

Are you serious ? Jacky probably got the best mids in the game beatknucle, 6K, 6PK, 3P+K ,1P+KPP , 4K+G what else du you want lol ?

About Akira 3P+K, it's true that +7 is big and it's where Akira wanna be at but the move is 25 frames and linear. 25 frames is really the point where it's not that hard to guard it on reaction (it was a VF4 dojo drill ^^).
So if you get hit by it it's either that were in the recovery of something or that your eaction time is off. Lion 43P is only 2 frames more and it gives a combo ^^.
Maybe make it worse on block is the way to go or give it +5 on hit instead of +7 so the opponent can fuzzy. But Akira's low game is not exactly top tier as it is lol.

 

About Goh tsukami, it's not that strong when you consider chars like Jean have guaranteed damage off their sabaki. Goh has the throw sabaki OS buff but it's hard to use.

May be 2nd is a bit too much, (no low throws, no catch) but it's very good indeed. Although to make it very good it requires a lot of work. As remembering/doing max damage combos on 64P+G on every character is a pain in the ass and the damage difference you get for the lazy versions is big especially on HW.
I would say : [Taka, Wolf] then [Kage, Akira, Blaze, Aoi, Goh] ?

Aoi:
For tenchi of course it should stay in the game but maybe town down the guaranteed damage she can get from it. Like give her only PPK on all versions, no launchers. Problem with lanchers is she also got a pretty good ring out combo from it so the reward is becoming really big for a move that reflects 70% of the moves in the game with no timing needed.

43P !!! How could we forget it ! Make that shit -6/7 on block with more blockstun time and add more total frames so it can be punished more easily if you backdash it . oh and take away the stagger ^^.
It's ok to have a unique unsabakiable emergency move that ducks highs, hits mid, and is 13 frames (is it? really ? ). But making it ultra safe and getting damage out of it with a good stagger into hard to break damage is a bit too much imo.

Make her moves mor recognizable between 6PP, 6P+KP.

Beat knuckle is mid(EX)high. Dragon combination is the main mid string he has along with P4K. KP also but he has KK. Both High mid so no one who's skilled would press a button. They shoulve never got rid of his KPK and KP2K from vanilla. That would entice people to press a button. Everything else you mentioned are 1 hit moves.

Spam his strings and and kick flip and see how far that gets you. You guys act like he's jean or something LOL! Or aoi who has alot of cancels and the best defense in-game. Like he's a character that has no way to counter agaisnt. His weakness is too many highs PERIOD.

Just hold and a direction. You'll always escape the neutral throw plus whichever throw corresponds to the direction you're holding.

Pay attention, we are not saying that jacky is unbeatable but comparing to other chars he has the upper hand. Its a fact. Dont try to prove the opposite.
