hey to all the vf community, im wynstonian a newbie brad player who
was introduced to vf4 evo by one of best buddies King Zeal. Looking
to make a fresh start in vf5,and to be another positive player and
contributor to the vf community. If you have any advice and or criticism it is totally welcomed i'am not an overly proud player. I
look foward to meeting everyone else.

im originally a tekken player but i kinda left the game cause it is disappointing ...
so i try vf and it turned out to be the most balanced 3d fighting game i have ever seen & im willing to become a top player in this game with everyone help ...
i need to learn more about the game insidout & im sure that im in the right place.

my only regret >>> in my country there isn't much of vf players & im alone in this + i gotta PS3 = no online -___-

 

Hey Saiku, the gameplay of VF has alot of content making it a fulfilling experience whenever it's played. A majority of the users here would have no problem communicating about the game on a personal level. The forums are set up to accommodate any of your interests so start clicking man!

Hi everyone. I've always been a fan of Virtua Fighter (VF2 on Saturn was the first videogame I ever owned), and I've always considered myself above-average, but nowhere near tournament-caliber. My friends have started really getting into VF as well so I think it'd be fun to try and get better. I have the PS3 version, and I use Lau as my primary character, but he's pretty intimidating if you don't know how to block, so I refrained from using him for my friends' sakes. Now they've improved, though, so I want to get as good as I can with him.

I'm not new on the forum but, i didn't own the new version of vf.
Now i'm a vf5 player on the x360 and, i returned on this forum to improve my gameplay.
I hope to get on well here and become a good user :}
Unfortunately i don't have any opponent in my city and on xbox live the lag is too much :S but i love vf and i will do my best >__<.

yep , most of the 2d fighting games + tekken are the most populer ...
the prob is that im starting to see tekken as a casual game over & over IMO there is no solid system u can deal with +
mind games are way to easier to pull than vf for example
and a semi broken defence system ...
i like tekken ... but what i see in it is not good for me

 

hello im paul very new to this game, but had various consoles over the years, played street fighter,tekken, mortal kombat, rival schools, dead or alive, soul calibur, and soul blade dreamcast. had a pc for 6years and only had xbox360 for about 3months but doing quite well so far.

only registered to forum afew hours ago some good tips and help for all the characters, if you fancy a spar anytime add me up on the xbox

I'm pretty new to Virtua Fighter. I played some VF4 on the PS2 but that is all. I just bought VF5 for the 360 and a HORI stick is on the way from play asia. I mainly joined the forum to read up on strategies for the different characters. The only character I've spent any time on yet is Eileen. I have been completely humiliated a few times on Xbox Live as well

New Guy On The Block

Sup people. I'm Esura, and I absolutely suck at Virtua Fighter 5. I've been playing since Virtua Fighter 1 on Saturn and I still suck. I guess you could call me a veteran newbie. I tend to play Street Fighter games or Namco fighting games like Soul Calibur and Tekken and none of my friends like Virtua Fighter games at all. It may make you wonder why I'm I still playing then, but I don't like giving up on games, especialy fighting games. And since I have the PS3 version of VF 5, I cannot play online. I couldn't play online anyway considering that I don't have internet (I'm at my brother's house) so I tend to play by myself. And seeing that this site is all about Virtua Fighter so it seems only natural to come here.

I have been playing constantly to see which character I should focus all my time to try to master. Outta all the characters, I chose Aoi and Sarah and Jacky. Which one should I play with?

 

whatever character you like best

 

I like Aoi Umenokouji for her reversals but I also like Sarah because she is easy to pick up and pwn the computer with. I just like Jacky because he uses Jeet Kune Do (Jun Fan version) like Bruce Lee. I might use Aoi because of her reversals. I like reversals.

Nah, I'm all male. I also like looking at Reon wiggle around too (which is why I got the avatar in the first place). I got a crap load of her pictures as well as Mariah Carey.
