Tbf, Flamingo Stance was just given to her. She was never the typical Tae Kwon Do practitioner. So it could be more beneficial to give towards a new and authentic TKD martial artist.

Designer want to make VF characters looks more "cool" - Plz NO, please! No more like new "cool"Wolf! NO "Old" Akira! NO Tekken like design.

If Stella doesn't have Flamingo then I'm pretty sure we might later see Sarah as a DLC character with the stance.

Also as a former TKD practicioner I find it a bit funny how predominant that stance is to kick based / TKD characters in fighting games (Hwoarang, Baek, Sarah, Jenny from BR, I think Rig from DOA had it too) considering it doesn't really exist. Not that I'd be against fantasy in my games or anything but I just find it funny how it's a thing people expect out of a TKD chara nowadays.

It just looks sick and cool for now (graphics, gameplay, character design), nothing like Tekken wtf lol.

As you can see, Stella has nothing to do with the women of Tekken, who look like dolls. The new design of Akira, Stella and Wolf are really impressive and very, very cool, so we have nothing to fear regarding the art direction of the game. It's in good hands.

Also, another Yamada interview. I love these guys. AM2 and RGG Studio can do miracles with VF. Can't wait for TGS 2025!

I always imagined the origin of it is the end boss of Jacky Chan's Drunken master II.

Besides, Sarah's style isn't TKD. Its MMA or Jeet Kune Do. So she basically has a unique style.

Stella is fine.
Wolf is not.
I am talking about the designer's words in interview. He want change old design of characters. The one who realy changed are Wolf (bad) and old Akira (normal for his old status, but why we need old Akira... does it mean that all other characters will be old too?)

We don't need character design from 20 years ago, forever.

(VF3 Wolf doesn't looks exactly like VF2 Wolf, VF4 Wolf doesn't looks exactly like VF3 Wolf)

I think VF6 Wolf just looks sick and badass af !

Fighting games in general exist in a bit of a time bubble. I'm perfectly happy with how Wolf looks but Akira had gained a bit of gray in VF5 so he looks a bit young since that's nowhere to be seen.
Will this be the first FG ever to dare to show a woman in their 40's?

Relax, customization will make your day trust me. Or maybe not, always check everyone and everything and ignore people who order you trust anything . Check e.g. VF5FS Shun that can have a black mane like a caveman, the guy that suposed to have 80 years or so.

Akira doesn't look that "old" lol, he is maybe in his mid thirty or very early in his forty maximum.

Lot of people wasn't impressed by the animations

VF5fs Strength was its animations and transitions.And physics
It's work in progress anyway.
But RGG has to improve. And not rely on artificial gimick like slo mo or outdated Hitsparks

This is not Yakuza , this is not Street Fighter .

Just look how VF5 improved the animations transitions from VF5 vanilla to Final Showdown..!

I hope it's not because of bad martial artists choice.
Because it lacks impacts and fluidity. Mid fight slow mo to hide that is stupid.
And lack of imagination.
VF strengthits gorgeous animations , were are former animators at..?
(Sometimes it's better to keep some legacy moves ) And you could save some time and money. IMO

Better physics , for super satisfying big bounce moves and lttle bounce moves.
(No need to go full realism , we need our combos. it's not EA sports)
So far it feels almost like DOA animations ...

I also hope they blend these cool realistic sound effect with some iconic VF sounds.
Like Akira 1 frame Knee iconic sound.
Lau 1 K sound
Jet sound for circular moves.

VF sound design was also made for gameplay.
The ear reacts faster to a stimulus than the eye..!
That's why we had the weird "splash" sound during counters.

How to replace that? With realistic sound ?
Maybe just blend these new sounds effects with old ones..?

Improve animations and transitions please.

Problem is Ganondorf Wolf doesn't have Wolf nose.
Even with customization , Wolf has this weird shape nose he never had..
His hairline is unrealistic AF , and looks stupid.

If they could improve on anything , we should do the maximum so they can make the Best VF we've could expected.

Wolf Hawkfield is Native American descent, and he is never looked more like it than now. I like his new modern redesign a lot.

In video games, yea Flamingo stance makes good game design for certain fighters even it's not a real stance. TKD MAs look like they are always standing on 1 foot. I think thats where Flamingo stance came from lol

Like I'd also want to see how Goh looks in this. My biggest gripe was that for a pure Judo practitioner, it was difficult for me to see it as an appealing fighting style. Judo is usually combined with other MA styles that use Judo moves but a pure Judo/Brawler, like Goh, didnt feel right to me. I hope Goh comes back and has more of an interesting fighting style that resembles more martial art techniques other than pure Judo.

Sorry to break it to you, but Wolf had big nose from the start. Also, pre-VF1, Ganondorf looked like a demon pig. Post VF1, Ganon looked a lot like Wolf, so, technically, the infamous bad guy from The Legend of Zelda should be called Wolfdorf, and not the other way around.
