One thing that is wearing away my enjoyment of FS

A lot of everything jacky does ends high. Go into dojo mode set him to mash strings and learn when you can crouch under, make them whiff and puniah. I will say that latency issues can make defensing against aome things a major pain. That low kick to high kick in his 3K string is a collosal pain in the piss hole to block.

 

Just got some opinions from shoutbox on the annoying 3K P 2KK string. Block the kick and 2P right after, but just crouch blocking leads to better counter choices.

Can't test now, but I guess training it in dojo mixed with 2P/P/6P/throws etc is mandatory to get things right. Jackys can also stop the string and not spam, which should be kept in mind. At least the first kick animation seems pretty unique.

 

I actually haven't seen as many Jackys as I anticipated since I started playing VF5FS online. I see a wide range of characters,and that speaks well of the VF community.


Jacky ain't even that tough,bro. If you want to complain about a character then mention Taka...

 

I think each player personally will have one or two characters that give them hell. I've seen quite a few Jacky players. I've also seen quite a few Pai and Lau and Lei and Sarah and Akira and Wolf and...well, you get the point.

 

Indeed! For me, they are Kage, Pai and Lei-Fei. with the odd occasional Jean, Akira and Sarah here and there, that's all I ever seem to play against.

I've seen a couple of Jackys myself. always showing off when they go up against me, up until some pull one on me for coming back and about to get the win with my "novice playing", but I wouldn't say he's the most annoying character to fight!

I understand your frustration vs Jacky, he is pretty straight forward, has lots of good strings and half n full circular attacks. Not to mention all the moves he can do that back dash thing from and the mid, high, low and circular options he has from that. And teh almighty flip kick. So yea, it is kinda tough facing him. At the same time though, you should be thankful you see him a lot. Good practice ^^

I'd love to play a bunch of shuns, don't know how to fight the dude.
