Petition: We want Virtua Fighter 6!

    There are two types of people in this world. Those who think online petitions are a waste of time, and those who think that however slim the chance, there's no harm lending their voice to the cause. VFDC user @cmase1989 has taken some initiative to start an online petition to let SEGA know that We want Virtua Fighter 6! It'll literally take you a few seconds to fill out if you feel so inclined. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?

      Yes, they still have some talented people there, but their focus just isn't on the kind of stuff that would be popular this side of the world. I'm told they're pushing quite hard into mobile gaming at the moment. They still act as a publisher, but we aren't getting nearly as much in-house stuff from them.

      VF has always been the game that comes with and shows off their new arcade hardware. A better question is are sega still developing and putting together their own hardware?

      It's safer to assume there will be no new VF for the foreseeable future. It's an AM2 game afterall. How much straight to console stuff do they do?

      Sega and AM2 are busy printing money with kancolle Arcade at the moment.

      Dawn of war is published by sega, not made by them. The other two are fine examples of the stuff sega does now and just how rarely it does it. Where are the straight to console AM2 games in your example? AM2 focusing on Kancolle atm, as they should be. So you're suggestion is either they drop their biggests money maker since Border Break, maybe even before then, or new VF is made by someone else?
