Bad game to Mick2460! My very first match trying out Jeffry and I get ragequitted on when I do a wall throw in the 2nd round? Why, dude, why?

This. After DomAug pointed out what it was you were doing with Shun you were just a push over. Stop sending people hate messages after every game and instead play the game respectively.

Serioulsy BBSpartan.... I really do not get it. He categorically sucks balls at the game, quits early AFTER the rank meter adjusts and he STILL has a shiny gold ranking. It makes no sense. Who the hell is he beating to get there.

Hunter victory must give him 0.0000000001% meter gain, and between all the powering off, I don't see how he even has the time?

 

Not to mention, who really gives a fuck about about an online ranking system for this game? Like, seriously, who really cares?

 

I don't, I only play ranked when there's no one in players/rooms or to troll haunts. A lot of people swear by ranked though...

 

3K,P,P is punishable with a P,K combo every time and the pai player would be unable to do anything about it or sidestep it. 66K,P is also P,K punishable too and the pai player would be unable to do anything about it then as well unless you are slow to respond to it right away. Akira's elbows should stuff all of that crap if the pai player is just throwing it out there because they feel like it.

Basic Pai spam like that pisses me off too when they don't try to mix it up any even after I punish it constantly. You should pay more attention to the frames in dojo though. The only way those moves would be safe is if lag was so bad that it took away the free punishments. Stories like his make me not want to fight pais too much because most of them fight the same way again and again.

 

Yeah, ranked mode is just where most people hang out. Nothing inherently bad about it, it's just stupid to care more about your arbitrary title than about improving your game, playing good players, and having fun, challenging matches (or in my case, getting thrashed by Eeemacks).

 

bgs to ChoSho-something or other, some terribad El Blaze who ragequit a match by ringing himself out, challenged me again and lost, then accused me of ducking him when I didn't want to play after that. I decided to put him on block after 4-5 inane messages. Apparently I was using "YouTube" tactics.

Genzen - Eh, I do not know how to play vs. Eileen, you could see it in the last game we played. It sounds counter-intuitive but if you do your thing w/ her I get confused pretty quick. Anyway, I'm up for joining rooms usually, I just sit in ranked since it's the quickest way to get a game in.

 

Heh, ran into this Zaust guy as well, beats me the first game and when I beat him the second I got some hatemail lol. good times. Actually I've gotten more hatemail on the PSN side than the 360 side come to think of it. I suppose I can attribute that to the fact that there are a lot more players on that side and thus a LOT more chances to run into assholes.

Add raiponchan or somethin like that to the list lmfao. A bad Lau player who thought his punches into lows and crouch dashing were 1337 and got beasted on *shrug* pulled after I beat him and then imitated his taunt after he won a round.

Genzen, I think a lot of people do care about the ranking system. That's why it's the most heavily populated area.

Player and room matches are MILES more fun, because you see more flair/creatvity. In the ranked matches it seems people just want the points and will adopt what I'd deem as fairly bland tactics to get the win. More fool me for eating the repetition and loosing I guess.

 

I'd like to play in a room with you and maybe a couple of other solid players. I always like it when I consider myself 'the worst' in the room, since all the games are fun and challenging, and any wins I can scrape out feel well-earned. You're without a doubt one of the best I've played yet.

As for Eileen, I can give you some tips on how to beat her (was actually talking with my brother about the same things), but I'll send those in a PM so I don't derail this thread.

if you spent less time trash talking and more time practicing, maybe your insults would hold a little bit of water, but since you suck, they don't. i don't even play many other Shun players but you're not even near the top 10 of those i've played.
