REALLY dumb question... :(

I play VF and DOA with a pad. I play Tekken and 2D fighters on a stick. I can play the games I play on stick with a pad but I always feel like I'm playing slower when I do.

I have problems with my movement when I play VF on a stick. Have problems doing 270 throws, fastest input stuff and buffering double palms...in fact Akira is pretty much a no-go on a stick.

 

I can play Tekken on a pad or stick... I can play any other fighter on a Pad only if its a Sega Saturn pad. (The only pad that was created catered towards fighers and gamers.)

The Sega saturn pad was shortcuted on VF2 and megamix lovely. I was able to play VF3TB on a dreamcast pad painsakely. The only reason i never had a problem with stick is because i stayed in the arcades. Nowadays since their are no arcades people don't have the experience to play stick.

 

When I was growing up the closest we had to an arcade scene was SF2 turbo at a corner shop near my house.

 

Ha ha ha oh yeah those were the days...I remember being the local champ of Peter Pans back when it actually stood in Walsall town center.
