Ideally, from surprise reverse, it should be nitaku.

You either block his Kuzushi inputs [you are doing them I hope], or you get thrown. If they try sidestepping, they get thrown.

I find that if you use his Kuzushi follow ups 2-3 times and they start blocking, the fight should be yours as you have now trained your opponent's mind to block.

what I did that was amusing in a random player match was surprise exchange x3 to make them stop blocking and WHAM, kuzushi double palm out of the ring. Fun stuff ^_^

OK, I'm posting here as it seems like it was the kuzushi thread.

Today I had a look at Akira's frame data for version C and realised that kuzushi Single Palm offers a nice +13 on hit. Now, Akira has 2 mids with great range and that execute in 13 frames: Byakko and Body Check.

Since I'm not skilled enough to buffer the double palm and spent some time on the Body Check.

Basically, I went to the Dojo and set the CPU to guard and with struggle out of stagger on fastest.

Then I proceeded with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. The body check managed to hit, which to me sounds like a combo, as the CPU would struggle out of anything that is struggable and guard. However the combo counter was stuck to 1 hit and 20 damage for the Body Check (maximum distance).
Is there a reason for this? I mean, kuzushi single palm leaves you at +13, body check takes 13 frames to hit at the furthest range, so why this is not a combo?

Could somebody try this with Byakko at the end? It could kinda bring back the old Evo combo: stumbling trip, single palm, double palm...
