Hey can you make the queues single elimination depending on the actual turnout please? I know it's harsh on newer players like me. However, with a turn out this big and 2 setups, waiting can take a while so I reckon a single match is good enough to ensure the queue flows and everyone gets a better chance. 5:1 player to setup ratio should be the minimum number to impose a ratio.

Ash and John, since you guys live the closest to me (Leicester) I'll inform you lot about future sessions which hopefully I can hold regularly. Be sure to check out Birmingham as well since the scene there are on their way to claim another venue for massive fighting game meetups.

I'll do my best to step up my Aoi.

good session all round, i was amazed the turnout was so big, and it feels like it's being formed together by a new generation of VFers, which is just awesome.

for those that arent sure what i mean by this, you probably need to see a couple of vids from the old VF4 days in UK (and to some extent VF3). -- im really happy about how things are going with the scene at this time, and it was a kick ass venue, well done to zero for the whole thing, pizza, DVDs, setups, and just being a great host. man, i never watched VF5r much or followed any jp players, so that was just so refreshing and exciting to watch.

a couple of other stuff i can pick out from the event.

jide & kneeninja - i didnt play you guys enough, but it always feels like im falling behind like im missing some stuff. need to reach that higher archy like the old days. it's great you kept your games solid, i need that. well done to knee in the finals.

opti - great play man, from what i see of your style, it's very patient and dangerous, you mix up well, i think shun is a strong wepon for you if you learn all his secret tricks in VF5.

howl/rory - you become tough in such a short space of time, i see dat is training you up , that's a really solid goh you have there now, it definatley stands out from the crowd of gohs. i see your're experimenting with other characters now?

the elblaze guy who was fixing sticks- actually, i find that you have a solid blaze game, all the right tools and flowcharts there, keep it going, - nice stuff.

to anybody else there i played, ofcourse i got more cool stuff to say, but my hands are tired, hahaha.

just come next time, and play some more-

Not long got back myself, just thought i'd say a quick thanks to zero for hosting, Drinks etc and the setups were great (amazing TV!!)
Cool of you to put up with so much of us in your room but the atmosphere was great especially during the DVD and the tourney /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif , I had a great time and enjoyed playing everyone and i look forward to seeing the replays.

I fount it funny how most of us knew each others names but still referred to each other by our tags, I got to get used being called monkey from now on /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Special mentions to Feck, Matt, Seidon & Ash. thanks for putting up with me and letting me tag along with the hotel biz. i was a little nervous at first but had a great laugh with you lot. I enjoyed the casual matches back at the hotel with Feck & Seidon, those were a right laugh. plenty of Sig material from the stuff we were chatting about.

I hope to do it all again soon, it was great to get away from uni for the weekend and get together with like minded people and play some VF. I'm gonna take a week off playing, come back fresh (i hope) and who knows by the next meet-up we may have VF5:R, thanks everyone for a great weekend.
