Ok, my mistake. I just waded thru some posts about his tech and it seemed though everyone was talking about the two kicks and not the punch beforehand.

/me punches himself in the face repeatedly until all memory of this event is lost.

wolfs looks like a full circular backhand high into a hit throw. . . full circular into hit throw sounds really good.

i just hope it IS a hit-throw, and NOT a back-catch, cuz then one might be able to LP out of it, which would make it uber useless, but i don't know /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

it is at least semi-circular.. and it seems to back-turn your opponent even if you don't do the throw (assuming that it's not just a single command for both moves, which would eb pretty unusual). very powerful.

    lei next!

heh, very powerful indeed. wolf's back throw's a good 70pts, and taking into account the semi-circular-man- turning-doom-slap /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif which looks some where around 15-25 pts (im judging by the ferocity of the attack), you end up with a = /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

even if the throw aint guaranteed, that distance range is too sick, better than jeffry's anywayz /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif if i were the opponent, i wouldnt choose to do an attack very often.

if it was a hit throw, it's more likely not gonna be put together damagewise the way you are thinking. Most likely it would be an entirely different move with different damage like jerry's toekick splash mountain.

besides, the animation is slightly different to wolf's current back throw

Lei-Fei is up. Looks like he has a double kick from bokutai. Should evade alot of of attacks but it doesn't look like a combo starter.

It could be a combo starter, but if it is it looks like it requires buffering, maybe on lightweights perhaps?

Still, looks pretty smart, and it looks like it attacks high, which gives more mix-ups from Bokutai.

Don't forget that in the movie it's shown as a normalhit aswell. Might be combostarter on CH / float higher then (and it's against Brad). Hell with the crappy info we get from this gifs it could even be a sabaki for all we know.

Yeah right it doesn't do anything special but look cool. We all know Lei is getting the shaft in FT. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Reminds me of Lion's [1]+[K] . Let's hope it has decent uses.

It looks like they took that move straight from Michelle from Tekken Tag.

if the move does hit starting low, it should be pretty strong mixup games, after he can stance cancel into so he can throw any sidesteppers. and everything else in bokutai is mid. So mid, low, throw guessing games are all there now /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

i rather would of had a Face Foward mid kick only sabaki though . . . . oh well there might be more moves added for every char, some chars had more than one in the preview vid

That's kindof a big float to not be comboable...looks that way to me anyways.

Let's change the name of this thread to "Final Tuned Water Torture", 'kay? /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

To me it looks like a 2-hit. Mid, high.

It looks like he takes too long to recover to juggle effectively from that but it could float the opponent higher on a CH. It doesn't show the effect of a CH.
