I trust your judgment and experience and will learn to do Yoho after Lau's low roundhouse. However, should the damage deriving from the overhead double palm-overhead smash-double palm combo be superior, you'll reckon that in an ideal world where you'll never miss that one frame, it would be the best way to go.

Just as a further check on things (to make sure the cpu was blocking immediately after being in a disadvantage) I tested something else:

Lau's jack knife is -15 on block.

Akira's mid punch /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is a 16 frame move.

I tried to do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif several times after a blocked jack knife and the cpu blocked all the time (as should be expected).

I then used Akira's stpm (14 frame move) and got a guaranteed combo of stpm > P > dbpm every time.

So that's an example of how to punish a blocked jack knife close up (range may sometimes become an issue when trying to punish stuff).


Also from above, doing sgpm-DE + light down attack if your opponent does not TR the second elbow gives 67 damage as a punisher to blocked sweep.
