VF5 community numbers after SCIV release

they nerfed talim hardcore in 3, But yea blackstar i feel you on the girl main characters. I'm the same way. I more often than not like female fighting character styles. They tend to be more about finesee and less about brute powering through your opponent.

Perhaps it's just because when i fight (koga-ryu-ninjitsu) I rely on smart calculated hits rather than just trying to overpower my opponent. . . partly because I couldn't power through them if I wanted to. i'd lose.

 

Yeah but I think some characters have one tan, and then a paler tone. Like Kage had a regular tan and a pale skin option.

I don't know how you can hate on Jeffry. Anyway though, you use Sarah, AND Kage was one of your first choices?

As far as my character selection, it's always been based on how a character plays, and how cool they look doing it, not the gender.

Damn I've played alot of fighting games, but I don't even play any of them anymore, just VF.

 

The style of play like tends to lean towards female characters. I wish I knew why. Chun Li is my main in SF. Dizzy is my main in GG. Pai is my main VF. KOF games have me playing Iori and Kyo mainly and play all the characters in SC so much I don't have a true favorite X and Talim are as close as I get to favorites but I can never stray away from the rest of the guys though. Makes me wonder who I will focus on when SC4 comes out.

 

Funny thing is I must be the most racist gameplayer alive. I just migrate to black
characters. I actually STOPPED playing Vanessa when they lightened her up lol.
If I cant find a black character black-ish will do. Case in point you can argue for
Jeffry....aborigine maybe but can easily be a brotha. Vanessa....they really worked
that Brazil angle this time but my lines from Brazil and it has more black people than anywhere outside o Africa.

Maybe the black is beautiful afrocentric 80's just brained washed me. (Although
the humor is most of my friends aren't necessarily black, and my sons mom is
a whap - "white-jap")

SF: Dhalsim (I was young I thought he was from Africa) then Blanka and Sagat.
Like I said the closer to black looking you were the higher my chances I'd play you.
I have a thing against black boxer characters so no Balrog.

KoF: Team USA hahaha or Brazillian team (more for the ikari warriors)

Tekken: Mishimas but once I got Bruce, Eddy, Raven fuggeaboutit they were done.

SoulCalibur: Voldo, Astaroth until Zas showed up.

VF: Jeff was my only constant then Van in 4.

KI: I played Eyedol: Never dug the boxers. Although I did give combo a shot.

MK: Couldn't get into Jax, I think I played Barraka.

Martial Champions: Muhutma!

Mace: The Executioner!

Now that I think about it; I hardly played SNK cause I couldn't find a character
I liked...Cept...Bob Wilson. I even played Zack in DOA.

I think the Marvel games were the only ones that I played white people oh and I
played a ninja in Garou.

I guess it may have been my thing to fight the "man" in my own little way; although
I never was outwardly problack or anti anything. As far as girls in games I never
played them simply because I never thought women looked right fighting in
general unless it was against other girls. Like I can dig girls in MMA that look good.
I mean hell, they're real, sweaty, and in tight clothes.

What's not to like? The blood and bruises are kinda hot.
