You know making thread title like this shits me. Post something solid instead of disguising it as informative.

Allright, allright, maybe I was a little harsh, but that's only because I really don't like paying for XBL. But hey, whatever suits you is your choice. But I still stick my ground on that stupid X-box controller. God I hate that damn controller so much. To be honest it was the only thing that made me not buy X-box.

Blows my mind that people go through the trouble to register just to post something like that. But, hey, I guess that's why the internet is so cool.

You guys complaining that VF on XBox would suck forget one thing. XBox is the only console that will buy rights to a franchise and promote it. Not to mention XBox has the biggest online community and has the ONLY console fighter Ive ever seen run online without monstrous amounts of lag. MS has the cash and if they promote it we might actually get a reasonably sized VF scene in the US.

As for not liking the controller... buy a converter. Ive got one that can converts PS, dreamcast and even sega saturn controllers to XBox. You can even buy the PS->GC/XBox converters at gamestop.

As far as paying for XBL if you dont want to then fine dont but thats just the way it is. MS loses money selling the consoles so they have to make it up somewhere... thats just buisness.

And for those of you who didnt already know there is no current release date for nintendo revolution because they dont have a system yet. Its not getting here anytime soon so dont get your hopes up. And besides Nintendo will just fuck up another console with an attempt to do something new instead of what they should.

To top it off I think the logical choice for sega would be to move to XB with VF. The XBox console does alot of nothing in japan so itll keep alot of people in the japanese arcades (a motivation which I would imagine is why they arent porting FT). The US on the other hand has no arcade VF scene so console release would be the only logical step to making money over here.

all those ps2 (or any other system) fanboys, they make me laugh, before Sony ,they were probalby Sega or Nintendo fanboys. At the time of the SNES vs Genesis ,I was a Nintendo fanboy, with time,I grew tired of it,because there was good games on the Genesis.
Now? I've got the xbox,ps2 and GC .Meh to all those sissies fanboys.

Bottom line, as we know the only way to get an arcade perfect port of FT is on Xbox at this point.

Id agree that a port wouldnt hurt arcades much in Japan.
Evo didnt sell all that well on PS2 and went straight to greatest hits in the US.
Xbox has few quality 3D fighters (a total of two for those of you that count DOA). Sales would be at least that of Evo, probably better due to simple lack of competition in the market.

However, with Microsoft's total shift now to the 360, they want anything and everything for that machine. I doubt they would do much to help AM2 get FT on Xbox, but they certainly seem to be after the next VF of sorts.

It sucks, we in the US will probably never see or get to play FT. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I think it was a great marketing ploy to have VF4:Evo debut as a "Greatest Hits" title in the U.S. I know plenty of people that bought it knowing that it was a great game and only costing $20. Unfortunately, they didnt play the game that much after purchasing it. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif
