WOW! Play Asia is FAAAAST!!!!

!@#$% Play-Asia only has limited stock of VSHG right now and they just informed me there's a good chance my VF5 and stick won't ship until next week. FARK!

 

Yep. My original order is still stuck on 'preparing'. The VSHG sticks arrived today, and the earlybird orders probably shipped out already. Currently, the VSHG item in the PA catalog lists shipping by '5-15 days'. I hope that this counts for new orders- being preorders, our stuff hopefully won't wait THAT long.

It cost more, but am I glad I ordered a second VF5 disc... I would be freaking out otherwise if I suddenly had to face another week of waiting. The stick can freakin' wait. I have the game already, so everything is copacetic.

The only good thing about this is that a lot of people ordered the Virtua Stick, which is good for Sega and VF5.

 

When did you guys purchase the stick? I purchased mine on Saturday and my order says its preparing and has a ship date of on or before the 9th next to it. LOL, dumb me ordered a stick from a guy on EBAY in the US. His crappy shipping won't not have th estick here until Monday!

 

I purchased mine about three weeks ago, and I am stuck waiting until next week.

 

Mine shipped last night. I guess its somewhere in hong kong right now. Hopefully we'll have it before/by the weekend!

 

My VF5 shipped on Monday, it seems as if its still at the airport. My tracker receipt says "HK CHEK LAP KOK" "HUB SCAN".
A real bummer....

 

Mine's still listed as preparing and that it will ship before or on the 8th. And I ordered over a month ago ; - ;

Well, if some of you ordered weeks ago and still have orders 'preparing', I'm screwed- I ordered only on Friday last week.

Good thing I got another copy of VF5. At least I already have the game itself. I can wait for the stick. Gotta buy another controller though.

Apparently they underballed the VSHG demand by a whole lot, so they're screwing random people until restock.

Their email to me said that they were filling out orders according to payment clearance date, but I don't find this particularly reliable since I've had my own order paid in full since December.

Frankly, the money could have been much better spent elsewhere in the meantime if I knew I would have to wait for some restock date. This is really lame.

 

They said that they could only fill 60-70% of their orders this week, and that the remaining orders will be shipped out next week. I wonder if that's the truth, or if those who had preordered it still have more than one week to wait.

 

i bet 90% of those 60-70% goes straight to hongkong residents. This completely makes it pointless to preorder. much anger right now.

 

Goddammit, I ordered the VSHG from them and I got an email requesting payment, since I specified I'd pay via Paypal... but I don't want to pay right now unless they've got a stick sitting in the warehouse ready to ship the moment they get my money. Otherwise, I've got better things I can use the money on for now... what to do

That is awesome, playing VF5 today.
For those who need a stick, it seems as if EB games has the cheap style Hori stick for sale now.

 

They told me that my shipping date would be Feb 23rd. Two weeks away.
