Agh, before I found out about that. Pre-Order stocks were filled.

Really cool looking stick, I would have got the VF5 one but from what I heard they don't last too long.(Buttons tend to stick, even heard of cases where the stick breaks.)

Played online for the first time in a year, I can't describe how happy i am for the release of VF5 on 360 in Japan.

I ended up with 22/47 for the night, was pretty happy. Most my fights went until the 5th round and I ended up getting smooshed against most the good Akira players online. It seems when theres heavy LAG heavy hitting characters benefit more from people that need 6 or so chain commands.

Other than that my highlight for the night was playing Crimson Mankichi and getting 2 rounds off him and narrowly losing in the 5th, at that point he had 10005 wins.

Really hope to play you guys soon, heading to Sydney and GG next Saturday /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif so after i'm done there I wanna get my VF on, hard.

Ugh, I just lack that little bit extra to finish you off. I thought I was getting my timing well and definately felt I improved when you unleashed Kage. However that being said, I know where my chains are failing, and at least I can see myself improving. With much more practise /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I'm a believer that to improve you need to play against higher quality opponents. If we could play another 50 or so in a night Myke i'm sure I could progress to that next step. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

For now though I gotta get a stick and work on throw escapes and timing my offensive moves.

BTW Myke, is Brad your main now? or you still most proficient with Kage?

 

You switching doesn't bother me, play with whoever you feel like.

I don't know how to do a tech roll, If it isn't hard tap on either up or down, i'm stumped. Still need to learn how to safe fall as well for giant swing etc.

 

Thanks for that Myke, tried some of it out earlier today and it worked to an extent, just need to get my head around every little aspect now.

I'm not at the stage where everything is coming as a second sense, so for now it's just practise and play until I can work it all together fluidly.
